Our place was quite nice, but the arrangements are unusual, at least to those accustomed to southern Canada or the U.S. Lower rate rooms have a shared bathroom. Higher rate listings have a private bathroom in your bedroom. Your bedroom is part of an apartment with a shared living/dining room and kitchen. It's not a bad arrangement, but not everyone might realize that this will include shared accommodations. Service was good, decent continental breakfast (yogurt, cereal, other items). Location was good, only 6-8 blocks from the heart of downtown Whitehorse.

Misleading Info Lead to Disappointing Stay

Pros: Very clean and quiet
Cons: Clearer information on the website re: shared bathrooms
Location: Great location near downtown and the visitors center which is great - lots of information about the area
We made the reservation from our phone over the internet while traveling and so likely didn't read all the hotel info as carefully as we should have. As a result we did not realize that this "B & B" charged extra for breakfast. While that was disappointing, the fact that we had to share a bathroom was more upsetting as we hadn't seen that on the site. I went back to the site to see if I'd missed it, but nope - there was nothing about sharing a bathroom and in fact under 'room amenities' bathtubs were mentioned. Also, there is MAJOR construction going on in front of the B & B making it very difficult to actually GET to the place. Eventually we found some detour signs the B & B had put out, but not before driving around various blocks and getting extremely frustrated.
