Yes the Lodge does have a mountain and creek view, but its outside your front door across the highway. There was no service in this area, no wifi is offered at this location, and no phone is found in the room. there would be no way of contacting help if needed in case of an emergency. the lock in a flimsy slide lock that verily works. No floor Matt in the bathroom making it a hazardous spot for slips. And the kitchen window has no way of covering it for privacy. anyone could walk down from that area in the back and peak into our room.

Had to check in at Cedar Lodge, two miles up the road. Not a problem, but would be helpful to put this information in the booking.

It is lovely to be on the river and have a quiet place to look at the stars once most of the cars leaving Yosemite pass by. I was disappointed by the "kitchenette" being a hot plate and the sink was TINY with a weird faucet head which made it hard to wash dishes. The room felt clean but both times I have stayed here there has been food residue on the dishes.

Remote check in. Old motel room somewhat updated. Remote didn't work. Sink needed to be repaired as water leaked badly from Faucet. Coffee pot missing. Bad stain in the middle of the floor.
