Nice Property

While our stay was good and the host was responsive, there were a few things that would make it better. The curtains in the ground floor rooms were sheer, offering no privacy. We had to use blankets as curtains. While there were four bikes in the garage, only two worked after we pumped the tires. We ended up renting two additional bikes. The property is for sale and realtors contacted us wanting to show the property which was inconvenient as we had two babies sleeping at various times.

The owner was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. The home is located on a quiet cul de sac and has two golf carts to get you around the island. We enjoyed how fully equipped the kitchen was and the extra space as well. The mattresses were new and comfortable and they had lots of beach supplies if needed. The porch was nice too on some breezy evenings. We would definitely recommend this home.

It was a great stay! We loved the house, comfortable beds and sheets, plenty of space for everyone, nice golf carts, bikes, nice laundry machines, all the necessities for the beach and everything you could need in the kitchen. Deepak was a great host, very communicative and kind and we look forward to our next stay there. Definitely recommend!

Perfect accommodations!

Plenty of space for families to spread out. Everything we needed was readily available in the house and Deepak, the host was very helpful. The two golf carts at the house was a huge bonus so our group could go different directions throughout the day. Beautiful island and highly recommended.

Truly 5 stars

We have been to Bald Head many times and this has been our favorite house we’ve stayed in. For one, huge shout out to the cleaning crew. Not a single grain of sand in the house! Who are these magicians? When I say this place is spotless, I mean it. The house itself is truly gorgeous. It’s on a private, quiet culdesac, nestled in the trees. It’s been beautifully renovated while maintaining the charm. We had just our family but two families could easily share. The beds were super comfy and several of the rooms had private tvs. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. You could tell the owners enjoy this home themselves and there’s a level of care given that is obvious that this is more than a rental. But the best part was the gorgeous outdoor space—the hammock was a huge hit. I loved watching the sun set over the trees. So many porches and decks and the outdoor shower was lovely to wash off sand. I also want to note that there are two golf carts (previous reviews said only one so this was a nice surprise). Excellent communication, easy check in and check out. Truly 5 stars earned here.

Favorite Rental Ever

We stayed in this gorgeous house with one other family. It is ideally laid out for private space with every comfort imaginable. The fully stocked kitchen was a joy to use and we loved the secluded setting while our teens were able to walk to the beach in about 10 minutes. Perfection.

Property was conveniently located near the Bald Head Island Marina and also the beach. Check in process was very simple and the property manager was extremely quick to respond to any requests. Property was designed nicely for a family and we had all we needed for a great vacation.

Great Large Home

Great location and large home with excellent sleeping arrangements. Well equipped. Host was communicative and helpful. Be aware there’s one golf cart, so if you have a party of more than 6 (which the house can easily accommodate), you may want to rent another one. Thanks for having us -

Great Stay!

We had a great stay - we were only in for a few nights because our turtle nest hatched so they accommodated quickly and got us in. We had some trouble with the AC and keeping the downstairs room cool, but overall we had a great experience, the house is beautiful and close to the pool, groceries, etc.

The house has a great layout with lots of privacy and places to sit and read. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. The owner responded back quickly to any questions we had. It was a super place for our family to stay!

It’s a great house and we had a blast. Couple of things, we thought there were two golf carts, the yard is full of burs that hurt when walking barefoot or get on clothes/towels and the ice maker drops ice behind the tray. Beds were comfy. Thanks-Jenny

Family Beach Trip

Great house, very convenient to beach and BHI club. Nice outdoor spaces and kitchen had everything we needed. There was only one golf cart, but it held six people. It was ok for us, but I could see it being something I’d want to know.

Perfect Mother’s Day Weekend

This house was great, we had a wonderful weekend. The house is in a great location on the island, closer to all the restaurants and the club. We cooked at home one night, and the house had a great kitchen and grill with everything we needed! We loved the space that the house had for our family. Will definitely visit again!

Spring Break trip

We wanted a few days away on Bald Head for spring break and 8 Racerunner Ct was a perfect house for us. Great location, the house is just a short bike ride or golf cart drive to the BHI Club, lighthouse, marina or Maritime Shops. Inside, everyone had plenty of room to spread out with bedrooms and bathrooms spread across 3 floors. Owners provided everything we needed and were very helpful with check in/check out and anything else we needed. Look forward to coming back!
