The Sunday Times ranked Ballycastle the greatest location to live in Northern Ireland in 2016. On a clear day, you can see Scotland's Mull of Kintyre and Rathlin Island from Antrim. Ballycastle's seashore is beautiful in either direction. The community has a golf course, Blue Flag beach, shops, and restaurants. Visit Fair Head, Murlough Bay, and Kinbane Castle. Ballycastle is convenient to Portrush, the Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Bushmills Distillery, and Belfast.
As mentioned in other reviews the house is lovely but it lacks any kind of instructions as how how to do thinks like turn the heating on outside itâs normal programmed hours or what to do with the rubbish which is an eyesore. To me those issues are down to the management company, someone should be acting on the reviews. Itâs a bit far for a walk to the pub but the little seafront area is lovely. The chippy is good but donât expect to get alcohol in the Spar shop !
