Excellent location, great value for the price
We had a great time at in Knokke and were satisfied with this property. It is a small 1-bedroom with an excellent location. I would recommend it to a couple, a couple with one or 2 small children. For older children, this property would be too small. You can see that the owners made an effort to make this property rentable. It's well equipped, if anything, a bit too well - there are lot of fragile items (glasses/plates) that I would remove. The reason being that the renter has to take responsibility and verify the inventory - this was a bit of a chore and a headache ( I don't expect to count china on a vacation). Also, the owner should provide garbage bags - to have to buy them for yourself and try to figure out the garbage system by yourself is way too much to ask from a tourist. I should say that the bedroom is not closed off (the glass is missing from the window to the kitchen, and there is no door either) so do not expect privacy in the bedroom. The kitchen/bathroom layouts are both a bit odd and inefficient. My only other minor complaint would be about the electric stove - it's extremely weak - took me 15 minutes to boil 1L of water on maximum setting. The oven worked excellent however. I would prefer having the option of a cleaning charge so you don't have to clean yourself....

Wir sind Nachts angekommen und haben ohne Probleme in die Unterkunft gefunden. Dort ist uns dann schon beim öffnen der Tür aufgefallen, dass der Eingangsbereich schon seit Jahren nicht mehr repariert wurde. Das ganze zog sich durch die gesmate Wohnung. Ebenso war alles recht schnutzig, incl Flecken an Wänden, Polstermöbeln, Boden, ... Wenig einladend. Das Schlafen war unmöglich, die Matraze auf dem "Bett" war komplett durch, die Couch total dreckig und fleckig, also konnte nur meine Frau auf dem Ledersessel schlafen, der war noch einigermaßen sauber. Ansonsten alles runtergekommen, defekt und unansehnlich. Ich habe denn versicht etwas zu schlafen, mit der Konsequenz, dass ich am Morgen dann einen Hexenschuss hatte und wir den Urlaub abbrechen mussten. Für 200 € die Nacht bekommt man sicher auch ein hübsches Hotel mit Frühstück, war allerdings zu der Zeit keines frei. NIE WIDER!

Grauenhaft und enttäuschend!!
Die Fewo war schmutzig, heruntergekommen und hatte sichtbare Wasserschäden. Das Schlafzimmer war eine kleine Kammer. Das Licht war defekt. Die Matratze war durchgelegen und sehr fleckig. Das Beistellbett war defekt und die Gästecouch eine Katastrophe. In der Küche fehlten Kochlöffel, etc.! An den Kochtöpfen fehlten teilweise die Griffe. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist mangelhaft! Einzig die Lage der Fewo hat uns ein bisschen entschädigt!!

Met vrienden hier verbleven. De locatie van het appartement is heel fijn, om de hoek van Albert strand. Zou het zeker nog een keer huren.
