Hot rooms, doors slam, no help from staff, food Terrible!, says 24 hour room service but that means once per day and was terrible, managers never here. Very expensive for nothing.

The pool is freezing with no heater and jacuzzi broken. The staff is aggressively trying to sell their other resorts any moment they see you. I was not impressed on the interior and the things felt rundown and unkept. This seemed to be the consensus of the travelers we met and I’d never return there.

The property grounds around the main pool should be smooth like the the adult pool and inside the hotel. Pushing a manual wheelchair around main pool area is awful to say the least. Even people with baby stroller struggle to push children around the main pool area.

We were a group of 16 adults and kids. Our stay was for 4 nights. When arrived the correct room was not available. Front desk and other employees in general were never apologetic when needed. You were asked to make reservations 2 days in advance for dinner... even for groups of 2-4. The Buffet was not a big selection. The card keys would only work half the time, when we would go to front desk. they would simply activate again but never apologize... You were only able to do 1 room service per day at no cost... Crazy. and even then, you were asked to download the app and do it there... so confusing. Overall, the resort lacked communication. The night entertainment was awful too. A/C did not work for a lot of the rooms we stayed in as well.

The A/C did not work. I informed the staff and they would send someone hours later. After 4 different staff members whom were not able to fix the A/C. I was left in a very hot room for my entire stay. When I ask to speak to a manager I was ghosted.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Grand Park Royal Cancun. The resort was very nice and central to shopping and downtown. Loved the jacuzzi suite and ocean front view! We had daily room service. Staff was pleasant. Our personal butler Rocio was amazing in facilitating our needs and requests. Liked the separate pool area for adults with swim up bar. Enjoyed the varied dining options. Would have been nice to have had more cabanas. Also have hammocks by adult pool and a hot tub (these amenities were on the children's side)
