Honestly this is the first time we visit Cozumel to celebrate my birthday. But this is not our first time staying in all inclusive resort. We have been to Cancun and los Cabo’, and we felt the room needs maintenance and repair. Food is not very good. Overall, we can’t give a high rating for this resort!

No hot water in room, skidmarks on sheets from no telling who and sheets were never changed, food is average at best, bartender at swim up bar wouldnt make the drink that was requested even when he had every ingredient, we paid $3600 for preferred option and there was nothing different from the regular options.

The service was amazing, the food and activities were very bland and boring for an all inclusive resort. I also scheduled a tour with the starfish on 12/30 @ 2:30pm, and it was canceled due to the weather and port being closed. We were told we would receive the refund within 7 days and now we are out of the country ,it’s hard to get in contact and we haven’t gotten our money Back of $132. We also complained about the condition of the night club Desires and being black mold everywhere and the dirty condition of our shower and haven’t heard anything back. I got sick during the trip and two weeks later and now am just getting better- the doctor does believe it could of been from the moldy nightclub.Be careful

Mediocre resort, terrible food
This was not our first time to this Secrets resort, and it’s definitely on the decline. Our shower was broken, and it took the staff 2 days to even offer us to switch out our room. Food was mid-terrible, there were MAYBE two entrees in the entire resort that were mediocre. Food was all typically cold. 5 hour old cheeseburgers from room service in the middle of the night were our go to’s - better than anything on the buffet. No bar to hang out at during the evening, other than the rooftop bar in which the bartender who worked there 15 years ago when we were there, refused to make us drinks. We hung out at the resort next door (Sunscape, sister hotel) because they had a nice bar on the beach with attentive bartenders who made creative drinks. I would never stay here again, I would stay at sunscapes (next door) for half of the price. At least for half the price, the food being terrible would have been worth it.
