Surprised at the Good Communication Review with Host
The communication with the host (Frank) was terrible. I would have to copy and paste my message more than once then I would finally get a reply days later. Even once I was texting him on his cell, communication was poor. Our fridge went out the day after we arrived (Sunday) and he was not responding to my messages until I contacted VRBO and then they got involved. I left voicemails and texts. He did not have a plan set up for replacement or repair and told me, “I am surprised it’s not working” I thought, have you never had a fridge go out? Finally a repair man was sent on Monday afternoon who said they couldn’t fix it until Thursday. Then another repair company was sent on Tuesday and they finally fixed it. VRBO asked if I had requested a refund. I told them I would after arriving home. I have now been contacting him since Sunday and each day I copy and paste the same message and he still has not responded and it is now Wednesday, so now I have to contact VRBO again. I have stayed in many many VRBOs and this host/manager is the worst I have had, by a mile. We spent several hundred dollars having to buy coolers and ice a couple times a day to keep our food from spoiling. We also had breastmilk in the freezer for the baby and had to ask a neighbor if we could put it in the freezer so we didn’t lose it.Even though the property was clean and in a good neighborhood, I do not recommend staying here.
