Beautiful location

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was clean and ready for our arrival. We didn’t get a chance to visit the clubhouse or use the pool, so I can’t fairly review that, but everything else was great. My only suggestion would be new sheets. The fitted sheet in our room did not fit properly, and came off while we were sleeping every night, but that wasn’t too big of a big deal.

Very nice stay

The property was as described. The location is very pretty and our kids enjoyed the pool at the community center. We had a great time. Communication with the owner was not very pleasant, and asking guests to do housekeeping chores is absurd. There are too many other options to do a return stay here.

Great location to many SD attractions tucked away in a great neighborhood.

The space was adequate for the 12 of us. The home was all we needed for our stay. Very clean home tucked into a beautiful setting. But there were three issues we see that should be addressed. The master bathroom water pressure is pretty slow. We were not thrilled with the foam mattress pads that were on every bed, they need to replace them and get comfortable mattresses. Lastly the grill was not clean, I spent quite a bit of time cleaning that. That being said, we enjoyed our stay and had a great family vacation in lovely SD..

Great place!

We very much enjoyed both this home and the area. Rooms were clean and well outfitted. Kitchen was good although we ate out some so didn't really use it to the full extent. Deck is not huge but a great hang out place and the bugs were not bad at all. Area has lots of construction but it truly was not an issue. The community pool is small but it looks like they are adding on a nice larger area and pool at the clubhouse. All in all, lovely area and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Misleading pictures

Overall, the home is nice - plenty of bedrooms. The house is not as isolated as it appears in the listing photos. Access to the Mikkelson Trail is harder and farther than we thought. ILocation was all hard surface roads, easy access to highway , but if you are looking for a secluded getaway, would not choose this.

Home away from home!!

This was an excellent house to stay at. We had all the amenities of home and more!! Plenty of room..ample bathrooms..very comfortable beds!! We had 8 in our party, with room for at least 4 more with beds and more sleeping arrangements if needed for others! We had a lovely outdoor area with a bonfire 🔥 👌 😍!! Highly recommend renting this location!!

Great Place!

Our family came to this area to ride trails for a week. There was 14 of us, and the house worked out well! The house was very clean, had better than average kitchen utensils & an awesome pantry. Bathrooms were well stocked. We knew there was a washer and dryer included in this rental, but we were happy to find a set both upstairs and downstairs. The pool was a little small, but the kids really enjoyed it. The only thing the kids wished they’d had was a hot tub at the house to be in. Contacting the property manager was super easy via email & she responded in a very timely manner. We didn’t have any problems, but she checked in on us to make sure, which was awesome! Otherwise it was a fantastic place...highly recommend!!

Great multi-family accommodation!

We spent a week at this house in Lead for this year’s annual family vacation; we are 7 adults and 6 children. We had plenty of sleeping room with 5 bedrooms, blow up mattresses and a pull out couch. Inside the house is roomy so we weren’t bumping into each other. There is a large upper deck with a table, chairs and grills where we enjoyed the cool July evenings. A lower patio with another table provides more room for outside relaxation. The kids loved making s’mores at the fire pit. There is a short zip line available in the back yard which the younger children enjoyed. One of the most appreciated perks was access to the neighborhood pool within walking distance of the house; a great way for the kids to get some exercise after some day trips to area attractions. Of all the homes we have rented in our 4 years of these family trips, this house was the most well stocked with towels (including pool towels), paper towels, toilet paper, soap, cooking utensils, etc. There are only a few negatives I will mention, although none impacted our stay significantly: the house is in a newer development, so construction is happening nearby. The photo on the listing site is not current, as it appears to have no next door neighbors. There are in fact homes on both sides of the house. One is completed and was occupied for some of the time we were there, the other was under construction, but no outside work was being done on that house, so we had no noise issue. The pull out bed was so uncomfortable, the children couldn’t sleep in it, so they had to double up on other beds (not a big deal, though, they are flexible.) Overall, we were happy with this house. The location is great as a starting point to visit area attractions and towns.

Great property, exactly what we were looking for. Family vacation to ride ATVs and it was close to trails and tons of space! Bedrooms were large and check-out/check in process was a breeze. Property manager was a text away and helped a ton! Only downfall was not a ton of space to park trailers due to the area developing more. Overall fantastic.

Clean property close to Lead, SD. Our family enjoyed starting there.

The rooms are good sized and the house is large enough to accommodate a big family. The house is located a short distance from Lead and surrounded by forest. The house is stocked with all utensils and appliances which is very convenient. We had a great time staying at the cabin.

Very nice place. Newer development area. Not many homes and traffic which was nice. Living room area was a little tight for 8 adults and 7 kids, but other than that it was a very nice to spend our vacation. Would go back again!

Great location but house wasn't ready

We have stayed in the powder pass area several times, very close to Terry Peak, which is great, but look for another house this one has no hot tub and the upstairs was so hot while the basement was freezing. Also house was not prepared for arrival causing a lot of unnecessary chaos. Also water heater didn't heap up for hot showers among other troubles.

Beautiful restful time away from home.

Lovely home. Clean and comfortable accommodations. We were all pleased with the home. It was fun to be able to all be together as we laid to rest our husband and dad in the National cemetery in Sturgis.
