Location! Location! Location! Welcome to paradise! Large clean, quiet private unit close to everything here in Fort Lauderdale! Fort Lauderdale is also the only city in Florida with full access to e-scooters to explore! Fort Lauderdale Beach 4.8 miles, Hardrock Casino 6.5 miles, Broward County Convention Center 3.2 miles, Las Olas restaurant and night club district 3 miles, Broward Center for Performing Arts 2.9 miles, South Beach and Everglades are 29 miles away but I am located at I-95 and 595 making it an easy 30 min drive, Port Everglades 3 miles, Wilton Manors is a quick drive 6 miles away. I have hosted over 97 guests from around the world with 87% 5-star ratings, 12% 4-star ratings and one 3 star rating (LOL you can't please everyone but I try!) I take care of and live here with my mom who suffered a stroke 15 years ago (No problem as we are blessed and laugh every day!) so there is always someone home. 24 hour surveillance cameras for added security! Come on down! You won't be sorry! We have owned and lived here in this quiet neighborhood 25 years! Fast food McDonalds, Wendy's and Subway within walking distance also WalMart Super Center less than 2 miles away. Any other questions you may have I will be glad to answer. My unit does have kitchen area but I am only set up for light cooking with hotplate and microwave. Full sized refrigerator is in unit, however bathroom sink is only sink to wash dishes or pans. I do own two dogs who are friendly and are always under my control when outside.

Exceeded expectations.
We really enjoyed our stay. The unit had recently been renovated and was even better than expected. Room was clean and spacious. Location was close to everything we were interested in doing. John makes the check in simple, and was friendly. He loves on the property and I felt that if we had any issues or concerns he was readily available. He even brought us some yummy strawberries to enjoy. We hope to be able to stay there again in the future.

If ever in Fort Lauderdale FL. I strongly recommend this hidden & very affordable gem. Our whole 2 week vacation was the best 2 weeks we have had in awhile, especially if you need peace and relaxation. Mr. John B. the duplex owner was such a delight & always made me and my husband feel at home. He is extremely friendly and easy to talk too, when we first arrived he welcomed us right at the gate and introduced us to his (what I might say) his two Loves; Toby & Diva which were the 2 Friendliest dogs, but very good watch dogs. Our quick shopping and breakfast dining was five minutes away at the House of Pancakes and a local Walmart was minutes away. The best Wholefoods Market in all of South Florida was less than 15 minutes away where we did our majority of our food shopping. We where also 10 minutes away from Las Olas/ Fort Lauderdale shopping, beach, and Boardwalk where we had the most amazing (from scratch) pizza. We came down for relaxation & exercise on our new E-bikes, which we road all over South Florida's beaches & Boardwalks. The scenery was breathtaking along the beaches & bike paths overlooking all the high rises & condominiums. We will definitely book again in advance next year.

Very Enjoyable 2 Week Stay
Our stay was very comfortable and private. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Its not a 5-star hotel but its very homey and suitable to the budget. The laundry machines worked well. The kitchenette worked out fine and doing the dishes from the bathroom sink was not a chore if you get up and wash your plate while in hand. The shower had good pressure and produced good hot water. The large fridge was a plus since we stayed 2 weeks and was able to store a quantity of food. Air conditioner worked fine and internet was very good. Never an issue. We enjoyed the hot tub almost on a daily use. The beach was an easy 10 minute drive. For us having a car, the location near the highway, Walmart and restaurants made it all convenient. The yard and lawn chairs was comfortable under the trees for a morning coffee with plenty of birds singing away. The host, John is a great 70's era kinda guy. Very considerate and funny. He catered to our needs and questions regarding routes and directions. Even steamed our fresh corn on the cob for us one day and served to us on a platter. John cares deeply for his guests and serves then well. He has two dogs but they are lovely and friendly. We enjoyed them in the yard for quick hello's. But John keeps them well under control and will not let them bother you if you don't desire.. Thanks John for the very pleasant stay. We give him 5 stars and will visit again.

Our host, John, was extremely friendly and accommodating. He made us feel right at home. The place was neat and tidy, and had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the place was very clean. We will absolutely stay here again when we visit Miami. :)

Great stay and great host!
Highly recommend! John was absolutely the best! Such a genuine guy who made sure our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived he made sure to walks us through the place, and even left us some menus of places to order from. The place was super quiet, clean, and cozy. John even woke us up to strawberries and whipped cream! You really don’t meet many people like John anymore. We couldn’t be anymore happy with our decision to stay here.
