We’ve stayed here many times, and have always enjoyed its many amenities. This time we had a small health emergency that prevented us from getting our flight home, and the front desk wonderful in allowing us early morning checkin so we wouldn’t have to wait until 4 pm without anywhere to recover. It was such a relief!

I loved this property, I would definitely stay here again. That being said, there is a $30 per day charge for parking. This is kind of steep considering that there were only two parking lots to park in that had very small spaces. One lot was very close to the building our room was located in BUT the problem is that locals and surfers come to that lot and park to use the beach so there was never any parking for us, who are paying $30 a day and would like to park next to our room. The resort should police these cars as the lot is small and if I have to pay that rate, I don’t want to park clear across the property. Some of the resort was under construction at the moment but it was still kept very clean and safe and was not a bother while staying on property. Overall I give it a 4/5 only due to the parking/cost to park.

Unfortunately it is also required by Hawaii law to allow beach access parking to our public beach. We are glad you were able to enjoy the rest of your stay and look forward to hosting you here again. Only negative was that property was under construction, and they were working on the elevator outside our room which was very loud one of the days we were there. Thankfully, we were gone most of the day. One other small issue was that of the five hot tubs, three must be accessed by swimming to them through the pool. Of course, the ones that had direct access were full both nights we were there. The staff was friendly, and check in and check out were very quick. I would definitely stay here again after the construction is completed because it is a lovely property in a convenient location with a beautiful beach!

So many flights land at noonish and check in is 4PM. They use that fact to upsell you into a room upgrade that is magically "available immediately" rather than the room you booked which you must wait 4 hours before you can check in. Smelled like a scam. The poolside restaurant is no longer open for dinner. Pretty inconvenient.
