Short weekend stay
It is conveniently located close to Redondo Beach pier, in a neighbourhood where locals meet (not very "touristy"). Hotel pool deck is very good, spacious with a beautiful view of the bay.

Cons: For $300 per night, I expected no mildew in the shower. That was gross. The tv is also old (the remote has a vcr button), and there's no way to check out on the tv. One phone was disconnected, and the other didn't work. And it was very stuffy upon arrival. Pros: the view is lovely. We had a partial ocean view room. The room also felt spacious, the mini fridge was a good size. I also called (from my cell) to ask for a late check-out, and they gave me an extra hour. But, yeah, mildew in the shower when im spending $300 per night was just unacceptable.
