Finca Sa Cova. The tranquility in Mallorca

Finca Sa Cova houses a charming Country House with pool, located in the geographical center of the island, between the municipalities of Sencelles and Costitx. You can enjoy a very quiet environment, in the middle of nature, away from the tourist areas. Near the cycling ecoruta and near the Sierra de Tramuntana, it is an ideal place to disconnect or make a romantic getaway. The sounds of nature at dawn, or the beautiful starry nights, certainly the best.

The rural house is located in the heart of Mallorca, on a 6,000 m2 estate. It is ideal to enjoy the months of spring, summer and autumn, since our island has a good climate during these seasons.

It stands out for its tranquility, being away from the city, in an isolated area, without light pollution, which allows at night to visualize a spectacular starry sky.

The house offers beautiful views of the Sierra de Tramuntana, declared World Heritage by Unesco. It is very cozy and bright. They emphasize its two large terraces in which to have breakfast, dinner, or simply enjoy the landscape. It has a spacious living room, open to the dining room, with a large sofa, wood burning fireplace, television and air conditioning. A kitchen equipped with a fridge, microwave, hob, oven, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, cutlery and utensils. A bathroom with shower and a spacious room with air conditioning, with a large double bed (with the possibility of converting it into two singles).

Outside you can enjoy a large barbecue with firewood, as well as a large pool of 6.72 x 4.72 m and 1.46 m deep. Next to it they have several sun loungers and umbrellas so they can sunbathe or read a book quietly. The maintenance service of the pool and garden care are included.

On the farm there are numerous olive and holm oaks, and you can also find a wide variety of fruit trees and vegetables. Depending on the dates of your stay, you can enjoy the experience of collecting plums, apricots, apples, pears, grapes, oranges, ..., or picking tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, lettuce, cabbage, ... directly from the plant.

Both Sencelles and Costitx are two small central towns located just over five minutes from the farm. Surrounded by large areas of vineyards, both offer the basic services they need such as some shops, bars and restaurants where to try our Mediterranean recipes. A few meters from the farm, you can visit the talaiot of Son Fred (prehistoric construction). In Costitx you can visit and also know the astronomical observatory. If you are passionate about the beach, the sand and the crystal clear waters, you can go to Playas de Muro. If you like mountain and hiking, you cannot leave without approaching the protected Sierra de Tramuntana. If you are fond of cycling, you can enjoy the quiet eco-routes that pass just under a Km, or the mountain routes of the Sierra.

The house, barbecue, pool,...,all services are exclusively for customers, not shared with other guests.

Parties and celebrations of events are not accepted.

The person who is responsible for the maintenance of the garden, orchard and fruit trees is Juan, who has access to the outdoor areas in a timely and discreet manner.

In the Balearic Islands there is a tourist fee, called Ecotasa, which has to be paid by the guest in cash at the time of entry. The amount varies between € 0.55 / per night and person in the low season and € 2.2 / per night and person in the high season. From the ninth day, it is reduced by half. People under 16 are excluded from this rate.
