OMG! The scenery was breathtaking. Loved overlooking the lake with the lighthouse and water tower. The staff was amazing. The environment was so clean.
The room was very comfortable and cozy.

This hotel was so dirty- everywhere. Our rooms were ok. Everywhere else was gross— the lobby, hallways, elevator, walls, floors, pool, etc. The pool had a lot of spiders in it! It was just awful.

The facility is located on the harbor and in a wonderful area filled with restaurants, bars and small business shopping. There are sidewalks along the edge of the harbor that make for delightful walks, depending upon the weather, of course. They offer a reasonable breakfast; nothing fancy. Unfortunately, the facility is a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. There were places that were in need of basic cleaning. All the staff we met were friendly and efficient. Despite some of the negatives, I would stay here again. I wouldn't be expecting anything fancy or upscale.

There was a storm that knocked out the power for 1bout 20 hours, and although that wasn't the motel's fault it does color the experience. The next night the satellite connection for the TV was out for an hour or so, staff worked hard to restore it. Besides offering a bed for the night, pretty much everything else a hotel should do was shut down due to Covid. On my last night, another storm came along and knocked a tree branch down (in the motel lot) which hit my car and did several hundred in damage. I mentioned that to the desk, no help was offered. Overall just didn't have a "happy" vibe.

We sincerely apologize about the storm, unfortunately there was nothing we could do to prevent that or make the power come back on faster. Our amenities have slowly been opening back up as regulations are lifted, such as our pool being open and we now offer continental breakfast on the weekends as well as grab & go breakfast during the week. As for your car, no one ever came up to the front desk to let us know about any damage to a car and we did not see any when surveying our parking lot for damage either. If you would like to provide us with more information please feel free to call the front desk.
