GALLERY 1 is a fully furnished apartment on the ground floor of our meticulously restored century old building. Strategically located 5 minute walk from Place St-Henri subway (called Metro), the Atwater Market and the historic Lachine Canal. An ideal home away from home in one of the most vibrant hip villages in Montreal called St-Henri. Parking is free in the streets in front and around the building.

This two bedroom and den/living room apartment sleeps 4. It also has a an open full equipped kitchen to the dining room, a bathroom and a laundry room. It features two queen size sleigh bed, one of them attached to the den/living room that can be completely closed for more privacy. The bathroom has a deep tub with shower perfect to relax after good days of sightseeing. Washer and dryer are available in the laundry room. You also have indoor access to a very large shared deck (500 square feet) with two complete set of chairs, tables and BBQs. The perfect place to enjoy the sun and have a feel of the neighbourhood!

Finished with hardwood floors, spotlessly clean, original art decorated, high quality furnishings & linens. Fans in every room and central AC for comfort. One flat screen HDTV, DVD player, cable TV, Netflix, high speed wifi internet & bluetooth stereo system provided for entertainment. Also comes stocked with books and board games. This unit is handicapped accessible with 36” doors and only one steep outside.

Deluxe IGA grocery store is only a 5 minute walk away. We are also located near the delicious Atwater market where you can savor gourmet foods, pastries and deli style food. If you prefer to eat out, we are few minutes walking from some of Montreal’s top restaurants like Joe Beef, Liverpool House, Tuck Shop, H4C, Smoking Vallée or CHO. If you prefer a drink in a hip setting there is La Drinkerie, Grumman 78 or Terrasse St-Ambroise and many others just around the corner.

Called GALLERY 1 it is one of three units in our building isolated to minimize noise between levels. Other units are GALLERY 2 (Homeaway #213798) with two bedrooms & GALLERY 3 (VRBO #193135) with two bedrooms. We have all the city and provincial permits to legally operate so you can reserve with peace in mind.

Depending on the season, you could catch a Canadians hockey game at the Bell Center, go rock climbing at Allez-Up indoor rock climbing gym or get to the Lachine Canal 2 blocks away from the apartment. The Canal walk/bike path, is the highway of choice for whoever doesn't travel by car by leading to Old Montreal or the St-Laurence River in just 15 minutes. You can rent a bike, pedal boat, kayak, electric boat or ride in a dragon boat. For small children and family, there is a nice park with playground and splash pad one block away. We also located minutes from George Etienne Cartier parc where there is a station of the city public bike sharing system called BIXIE.

Finally, you really get the best of both world being able to get easily to action packed downtown/old Montreal or just walking around our apartment to really discover what Montreal has to offer!

The property was very clean and ample space for two people. We did not know beforehand how much construction was going on in the city. Driving and parking was challenging for us. The living room had space to sit, but the a/c was too close for comfort. Also, there was no coffee or end tables to place things.. The bed was comfy, but too warm because the a/c didn’t reach the bedroom well. Overall, it met our needs Thanks

1st time playing in Montreal. Loved the city, gardens, parks, museums, and of course the Cirque. The accommodations were lovely, although not as handicap accessible as described. That step to the bathroom is a doozy….especially at night. Owner very responsive. Parking is truly a pain though. I suppose one gets use to it after a while. Would consider a repeat visit if the opportunity arises.

Great Location
We came into town for the Grand Prix and had to quickly book a place to stay right after we got tickets in December. We knew nothing about the area we chose at the time but it turned out to be perfect. We were within walking distance of a metro station to get around, a grocery store and several restaurants. The apartment itself was very comfortable for the three of us and we slept great. It was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend booking with Romain.

Loved this lovely apartment and the surroundings
We found Romaine to be prompt in replying prior to our arrival regarding any questions we had. The apartment was very comfortable, especially the bed. It was nice to have his input on all the places to eat and things to do in the area. We are glad we stayed in this quiet little neighborhood. And many places to eat within walking distance. Also the IGA grocery right down the road. We got around by Uber. Oh, if you need some last minute snack or dessert before bed there is a corner store just across the streeet. We can’t thank Romaine enough for his assistance on so many levels.
