The elevators needed to be cleaner The hot tubs were not available for the week we were there When we arrived, there was no kitchen products available i.e. Dishes silverware pots pans etc. The staff was extremely wonderful: always greeted with a smile and was always willing to aid and assist

Very dirty, very dirty air vents. Poop in the hall way, very old rugs paint peeling everywhere, lots of spider webs in the hallways, bed was comfortable. Need total renovation.

The pool and lazy river was down the entire time of our stay, and had been down long before we arrived for multiple days. Our stay in 2024 was fine, this one was not. I won't be staying here again.

Terrible

It was terrible. The bed was not clean. I asked for somebody to clean me room and they told me to do it myself. The stove didn't work , I when to the store buy me some cover and some sheets.

Nice area with good parking the rooms were clean but they absolutely did not keep up with the cleanliness of the pool or lazy river and none of the hot tubs were open the entire stay.

Balcony was nasty and full of water, ask for clean washcloths and they didn't have them, TV did not work, bed in the wall ( the sheet was nasty) had a kitchenette, but asked for pots and pans they could not give them to us, tv didn't work and all phone were cut off

This property was horrible. Most of the amenities not available or working.. but they don’t tell you this as a courtesy.. Management is rude and they don’t care about your experience and your concerns. Rooms are so horrible as well. Not worth price

The stay was absolutely horrible.. The pictures were nothing like the actual property.. The sockets did not work.. The A/C cord had a shortage the air kept cutting off.. The kitchen area appliances were rusted and old.. The tv would not come on and the spare bed we needed had no sheets, blankets or pillows.. I am speechless I have never stayed at a myrtle beach hotel like this.. The staff were no help they looked so confused.. I would like a manager from this property to contact me regarding my stay..

Be very careful when choosing this hotel for your stay. Upon arrival, we were placed in a room that didn't meet the specifications on Expedia. We had to return to reception and request a new suite. The new suite was still missing some items, but after another request, at least one pan was provided. Upon arriving at the suite, we were startled by the musty smell in the hallway, the damp carpets, and the neglected appearance of the surroundings. The ocean view is truly the only highlight of this hotel, which should never be called a resort. The beds have spring mattresses, which for some, like us, can make sleeping difficult. The hotel information indicates that pets are not allowed, but we often came across animals in the elevators accompanied by their owners. If I return to the city, based on the number of hotels there, I certainly wouldn't stay at this hotel again. Just a tip.
The only good thing about the hotel is the view.

I have always used sandcastle resort in Myrtle Beach. This year was not the same. ZERO hot tubes worked. Toilet was clogged when we arrived and nobody would come fix it. House keeping never once cleaned our room or brought us towels. I went and finally asked for towels and the front desk said house keeping would bring the rest when they cleaned my room that day. We checked out early (4 days later) and still never saw the house keepers or the other towels. I had to go to the lobby every other day because my key cards would just quit working. We started going to Myrtle in 2016. This hotel was great every time we used them and we always stay for at least 6 days. Seems in the 2 year break (we didn't go on vacation), the hotel has went down hill.
