The beach was across the street, and the property was in a very good location. The kitchenette was really helpful for our week stay. The pool was big and refreshing each and every day after the beach. The staff was top-notch and attentive to any requests we had. Defiantly look forward to staying again soon.

The staff was friendly and helpful but we didn't feel comfortable due to finding a few cockroaches in the kitchen. So maybe stay away from room 105.

The room is great, clean and large and if you were to stay more then one night it would be great. But for a one night stay it don’t have it. No coffee in room (a large coffee pot but no coffee) no way on the premise to get soda ,snacks,or bottle water and to add insult to injury you can’t get your continental breakfast Till 8am(who sleeps to 8am anymore) Great efficiency apartment but bring your own foods

Fantastic Value

Hotel staff. Claudia makes the difference. Older property that they make an effort to keep nice. My poor reading I thought was directly on the Beach. The beach is across the street and a 200 yard walk. Everything was good except no full caffeinated coffee in room. Breakfast was adequate. The owner and staff are working hard to make this a 5 star resort for $100 a night. Rooms are Huge compared to most. Only queens available. Easy to get anywhere in Boca

Nice, simple motel across the street from beach

Pros: It is clean and well-kept. It is very close to a beautiful, huge, sandy, clean beach that is not crowded at all. There are lifeguards there too.
The motel was very simple but is in a beautiful area across the street from a huge park and beautiful beach. It is not too far to walk to a very nice retail area.

Stay at Ocean Lodge

Pros: The room was large and clean. The pool was clean and inviting and the ocean was across the street.
Cons: The outside of the Ocean Lodge needs updating. The street view/side of the hotel needs painting.
Location: The ocean was right across the street, restaurants and shopping close by.

Not what I expected

Pros: Room was clean and the daily cleaning service was good.
Cons: Better mattress. Don't promote as being on the beach - be truthful that it is across the street and a bit of a walk.
Hotel is not on the beach - it is across the street from the beach. Have to walk 1/2 block and through public park to get to the beach. The pool was closed with yellow caution tape when we arrived Thursday afternoon. Reception said it had just been treated and would be ready shortly. 3 hours later when it still wasn't open I inquired again and was told that too much chemical was put in the pool and it would be over night. When it was still closed the next day my husband interacted with the pool technician and we were told they were addressing black mold in the pool. Pool was not open until the third day of our 4 day stay. No considerations were given for rate discount. The bed was hard as a rock.
