Just an hour from Boston, this classic New England cottage puts you right in the heart of Rockport—and yes, it’s real (even if this April Fools deal feels like a prank).

Walk to Front and Back Beaches, Bearskin Neck’s shops and ice cream, and even the commuter rail to Boston (because yes, you can go from beach town to big city without a car).

Inside, enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, central A/C, blazing-fast Wi-Fi (500 Mbps), and comfy beds: one queen downstairs, one queen and one full upstairs. Towels? Yep. Linens? Obviously. Washer/dryer? Of course.

You’re also a quick drive to Halibut Point or Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester. Whether you’re tide pooling, art browsing, or just relaxing with your pup (we’re pet-friendly!), this is the ideal North Shore escape.

Quick getaway

My husband and I wanted to go Whale Watching so we booked Erin’s house. The house was Perfect….warm, welcoming and so comfortable. Erin gave great ideas for where to go, what to do. Unfortunately a storm prohibited us from whale watching but we loved touring around Rockport, Gloucester and Salem. Definitely a great weekend

Another great stay at this house!

We stayed at this house for a week in summer 2021 and I was eager to rebook it for our trip to Rockport this year! We stayed 10 nights and loved every minute of it—just like last time! I travel with my kids (12&14) and it is such a perfect location. We walk into town multiple times a day (the Mill Pond and cemetery path is our favorite!). The beds are very comfortable and the house offers all the amenities you could need. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to put on a few of the provided backpack beach chairs, pack a cooler, and walk 5 minutes to the beach—avoiding the hassle and costs of traffic and beach parking! The kids are already planning our next stay at this property! Erin is a friendly and quick communicator as well.

Lovely Rockport!

The home is absolutely lovely! Very spacious for 5 adults. The updated kitchen has anything you would possibly need for “stay in” meals. The gas grill has all the utensils too. Bedrooms are spacious in size. The bathroom is gorgeous with a nice walk in shower! The outdoor back patio is perfect for an afternoon read or cocktails outside. We loved the walk ability to Rockport beaches, village and Bearskins Neck. Check in very easy too!

Wonderful place!

This property is as advertised...clean, private, safe. Short walk to the beach and the shops of downtown Rockport, train station is a 2 minute walk. There were three adults in our party but room for two couples and two singles - more space than we needed. Every item and supply you might want for a day at the beach or cooking a meal was provided. Would recommend and stay again!

Great property!

We stayed here for a couple of weeks while our house renovation was being completed nearby. The property is wonderful, clean, spacious, and well equipped. Being locals, I can say it is in a very central area, with easy access to downtown Rockport, the train to Boston, and the beach. Erin the owner was wonderful to work with. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of Cape Ann!

We had a very enjoyable visit. The welcome package was well used and enjoyed. The one bathroom was workable but rough on people sleeping on the second floor. Overall, the 4 of us enjoyed the house.

The Perfect Oasis

The location of this house was perfect for the slower paced vacation we were hoping for traveling with a toddler. We were able to easily walk down to Front beach, Bearskin Neck, and many excellent restaurants and shops. It was also a short drive away from having awesome day trips to Ipswich, Gloucester, and even Salem. For those who love to visit in larger towns and cities, but prefer to unwind and relax outside of them, this location was absolutely perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better place, location, or host. We look forward to staying again!

Cute and quaint house with a pretty backyard. So close to town and the train, as well as the beach. The kitchen was really well equipped and you can easily cook a big meal, plus there is a grill in the backyard. The host was fantastic about communicating with me when I left something behind. Better than First Time!!!

Our second stay at this perfect family house was magnificent! We literally felt as comfortable as if we were home. We cook virtually all our meals. The kitchen couldn’t have been better prepared. While not huge , the house offers privacy alongside family gathering spaces simultaneously. Great stay!

Perfect getaway for a family!

We were thrilled with everything offered at this property. Short walk to beach and town, ice cream store practically next door, plenty of space for all and a backyard to sit back and relax. Adorable home within walking distance to downtown!

Myself and my two school aged children spent a week here and enjoyed ourselves so much! We walked into Rockport multiple times a day to go to the beach, for meals, to shop, etc. The house is in such a great location. We all agreed the beds were extremely comfortable and the rest of the home was everything we needed. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We would easily choose to stay here again! The owner, Erin, was lovely to communicate with. I had to re-schedule our reservation last year due to Covid, and she was happy to book us under new dates and answered any questions I had!
