Ideal for 2-4 guests, Knotty Pine offers a bathroom with a stand-up shower and newly tiled flooring. The cabin includes a full kitchen complete with a dining table and chairs. Unwind in the cool mountain breeze as you relax in the private hot tub. Turn on the gas fireplace and cozy up to watch the snow fall right outside the window. The front patio, furnished with a table and chairs, provides the perfect setting to savor your meals straight off the gas grill. Nestled in the Upper Canyon, the cabin promises close encounters with wildlife, deer, turkey, elk, and possibly even a black bear during the warmer months!

Loved our stay

Property was nice and spacious. Everything was perfect except the heat ran non stop. At one point, with all the thermostats turned off, and one door and 2 windows open, the house reached 88 degrees inside. Outside temp was 44. We had to sleep with the windows open just to keep cool. Please check with management to make sure this has been taken care of before you book. I had seen a review from before december of '24 mentioning the heat , and the property managers said it would be taken care of. It had not. Other then this minor inconvenience ( since were on the slopes all day) the place was fantastic. Big and spacious, awesome set up. Will definately stay here again (when the heat is fixed)

Be weary

At first the cabin seemed great. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was awesome. The location was excellent. Lots of deer and horses roaming the area made it feel really cool. However after a few days my husband and daughter began showing bites all over their abdominal area and upper legs. On the last night it was the worst. Upon returning home we sought medical attention and were told they were definitely bed bug bites. We were horrified. We spent over $1000 on a Vrbo property that left them full of bed bug bites. Not good. Make sure to request proof the beds were treated or replaced before you book here. We travel a lot and have never encountered this so we were just extremely disappointed. We will definitely never return to this property again.

Not what we expected

The advertising of this property is completely misleading! We were looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy instead we were inches from a busy road with neighbors surrounding us from all sides with only feet in-between cabins! There was no privacy to say the least! The hot tub might as well have been a public pool because of the lack of privacy and to walk to it would have meant walking through sticks and brush! They say a picture tells a 1000 words too bad it didn't include that you would be spending the weekend with neighbors you don't know and continuous traffic driving by your window at all hours and no place to sit and enjoy nature! Very disappointed!

Cozy and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to come back to Knotty Pine again and again. It’s a perfect cozy cabin for two people. It was also a great location. We had easy access to the lake and to town.

This property is conveniently located, lovely, and well-appointed. The management kept in touch with regular updates throughout the period from registration to check-out. We made fine use of the "gas log" fireplace and the hot tub. While we chose to eat out, the kitchen is adequately equipped for cooking meals. I would be pleased to stay here again. ;)

The cabin was exactly as pictured. We didn’t need to ask for anything since everything we needed was pretty much already there. If we had any questions they were only a call or text away and responded very quickly. Definitely looking fwd to going back.

Rental staff was wonderful! We did have some issues with property, however. 1) living area furniture was uncomfortable, 2) some electrical problems with plugs/lights, 3) cabin is not level and throws your balance off some, 4) toilet perfect for a small child, and 5) shower is great if you are under 5ft.

Cabin was perfect. There was an agreement that was to be signed prior to arrival but it went to my junk folder so i never saw it. The property manager worked with me. Cabin has everything one would need to cook and bake. Full size refrigerator.

Was ok but not what expected

Jacuzzi had lots dirty foam when we first got there. Knifes very old ugly onE in particular. Only two spoons. Lots of dirt under beds like it had not been cleaned in over a year for the $ that we paid for two nights. Outside could have been a little more manicured. Pictures shown do not represent the cabin itself. Smaller than it looks. Have pictures but can’t upload. I’ll keep trying 😞
