Located on over 2 1/2 acres of peaceful wooded privacy near beautiful Silver Lake in Saugatuck, this cozy cottage is an ideal landing spot for your Saugatuck adventures. Featuring an updated kitchen, stainless appliances, wood flooring throughout and two full bath plus and open floor plan that encourages plenty of light and views of the private wooded acreage.

INSIDE:
Wake up to morning coffee on the spacious front porch and immerse yourself in the natural environment. Take a stroll to view Silver Lake and take advantage of local boat rental to enjoy a day on the water.
This cozy cottages comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests - main floor offers a guest room with queen bed and second guest room with two twin daybeds and twin trundle. Well equipped kitchen with custom island and built in cook top opens to dining area with large farmhouse table - plenty of space for everyone! Upper level features a spacious master with king bed and private full bath. Open landing has great hang out space with flat screen TV and additional futon.

THE LOCATION
Downtown Saugatuck is just a short drive and offers endless options for dining, shopping, breweries and entertainment. Award winning Oval Beach is located on Lake Michigan with beautiful sandy beaches and less than 15 minutes away.

CANCELLATION POLICY
-100% refund (minus a $300 cancellation fee) if you cancel at least 60 days before check-in.
-50% refund (minus a $300 cancellation fee) if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
-No refund if you cancel less than 30 days before the reservation date.

There are no refunds for early departures, reduction of nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

BVW Unsalted Vacations Property Management in Holland, MI is locally owned and operated. We provide all linens, bath and beach towels, a starter supply of paper and cleaning products and basic amenities. We provide 24/7 emergency maintenance and guest services.

All BVW Unsalted Vacations rentals follow local and state tax rules. Your reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, and a Damage Protection policy.

Please note that all guests are required to sign a rental agreement within 48 hours of making their reservation. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of the reservation. Thank you for your cooperation!

Great space! Just as described.

We had a wonderful long weekend over Labor Day at this property. Loft was a perfect space for my teenagers and the three bedrooms made it so everyone was comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and large kitchen table for playing card games. We definitely come back and enjoyed our time.

This is a beautiful house! We had trouble finding it late at night and much to our surprise someone answered our call to help guide us in! There are plenty of towels, the house was very clean and well maintained. It’s a little out of the way but yet so close to shopping and restaurants. Best of both worlds!

Great weekend girls trip

The property is exactly as described, the area is quiet but very accessible to anything you would like to do. The seclusion made it very peaceful. The fire pit was a great amenity as well. The check in and out process was clear and easy. I would certainly recommend this property and Unsalted Vacations to anyone traveling to Michigan!

This house has a beautiful location and is set up nicely for a small group. The loft was a wonderful place for our group to hang out and play games. The large dining room table was much appreciated as it sat 8, allowing our group to eat together. Everything was very clean and we had a wonderful stay.

Updated House in a Serene Location

Loved this house. Completely updated in terms of decorating (just no window coverings in the main living areas) & appliances. Beautiful lot in a wooded, serene neighborhood. 10 minute drive to Saugatuck or Douglas. The only downside was the dirt/gravel driveway, so we were tracking dirt on the front porch and into the front of the house all week (made worse by rain during our stay).

Peaceful stay In Saugatuck

Great first time staying in Saugatuck. Saw lots of wildlife - deer, turkeys, black squirrels. Easy to get into town, Oval Beach, and breweries/restaurants. Very clean and comfortable home with everything you could need - all you have to bring is your food and you’re set!

Great stay

We just returned home from a wonderful week stay at silver lake. The home was beautifully maintained on the inside, great amenities, everything was exactly as described on the listing. Awesome fire pit and view of the lake. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful and beautiful home in Saugatuck or even surrounding areas this is an awesome option. Only 10 min from oval beach, 5 min from beautiful butler street and 15-20 from Holland or Southaven. The only complaint I have which is totally cosmetic is the outside siding and Windows could use a good power washing. Didn’t affect our stay though. Definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful and peaceful wooded lot

This house is located in a beautiful, wooded area off the beaten path. The rental was very clean, modern and well-stocked with towels, toiletries etc. The kitchen is also supplied with everything you need and more. Do note that although the house is on a lake, there is no easy access. Between the yard and the lake is a steep, vegetation-filled drop-off. Neighbors were puzzled when we inquired about lake access. Overall, we highly recommend this house to renters seeking peace and quiet.

Perfect place for a getaway

This house was exactly what we were looking for: Wonderful getaway location at a no neighbor lot, tucked in a wooded area with view to a small lake. The house is nicely remodeled, we enjoyed the open concept in a bright, clean and fresh cottage. It had everything we needed, we enjoyed the quietness but it was only minutes away from restaurants and shops in Saugatuck. We definitely would come back.

Great house

This house felt clean and comfortable. Very nicely designed. Good location on a very private wooded lot. A deer family (doe with 3 fawns) visited us every night, and we spotted bald eagles on our last day. The lake is down a steep hill, and the beach access wasn’t swimming friendly, but we knew that going into it. It still had a good view of the lake, especially from the 2nd floor. We talked about booking this property again in the future.
