The staff was nice and it’s an easy location to get to. The room was hard to heat at first and it smelled like cigarette smoke coming through the vent. The pillows just had one cover over it and the actual pillow didn’t look very clean. The pillows and the bathroom had a smell of overused disinfectant spray. The sink had a very slow drain (plug was broken). Hair left in the shower and sink. There was a hole in the wall with wires and some had plugs on them. No idea what was there. The vents were dirty. Dog poop left on the grass. My bed was lumpy. The curtain smelled like smoke. The bed by the door was cold because the air just came through the crack and probably the window. Overall I regretted staying here. You get what you pay for. Although I’ve been to updated Motel 6 before and had no major issues.

Registering was fantastic. I got my room. It was nice and warm when I got there. Front desk lady was absolutely lovely. Very polite. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. The bed was fine. The TV was fine. The bathroom was great. The problem I had was cockroaches. From teeny tiny to very large, and it was horrible, and I had a terrible sleep as matter fact I didn't sleep at all, and I wrapped my head band around my head to prevent the bugs from going in my ears. That's how many they were in my room not to mention they got in my food, as I turned my back to go get a drink of water, they started to scuttle, and they were in my Texas Toast and it was terrible. Anyway everything went into the garbage. There's nothing worse than to go into a room when you're exhausted and cold and you see all these bugs

Very pleasantly surprised; will stay again
It’s been a very long time since I’d stayed at a motel 6 and tbh I wasn’t sure what to expect but very pleasantly surprised. Rooms were very clean and way nicer than I expected though a tad small but enough room for what we needed. I will say there was something of a bad smell in the room when we first walked in but literally a couple sprays of cologne and I forgot all about that smell until writing this review right now. We had booked a single queen for NYE, honestly didn’t check in until between 1-2am, and by then there were no more single queen rooms available so she checked us in to a room with two doubles and didn’t charge us the extra rate and honestly that was our preference to begin with so we considered it a win. We were pretty much broke by the time we checked after spending all our money NYE and I admit I was a little worried about the $25 or $35 fee hotels.com says you’re gonna have to pay at check in cause we did not have that but there was no fee whatsoever and no security deposit (which tbh is why we picked motel 6 to begin with). The only thing that I would have changed about the room is the shower is really small and the shape of it makes it feel like an RV shower instead of a hotel shower and I feel like they could have done a slightly better job with those without increasing their budget or requiring a larger space, but the massive bench thing in the bathroom more than makes up for that.

The newly updated rooms definitely didn't feel like old motel 6 you think of when you hear the name but.. Be sure to check your rooms before hand.

I have stayed in many nice hotels and many cheap ones. This was one of the worst experiences of all. I love that they are dog friendly, but there was literally dog poop everywhere. I probably saw 40-50 piles on the grass strips between parking and the sidewalks, and even some on the sidewalks. The people who stay here are classless and apparently the establishment does nothing about it. More problematic, the room was nearly 80 'F with the heat off. I turned on the fan and the system was completely broken: a horrendous, thumping noise erupted and we just shut it off and tried to deal with it. And this was in our second room, as the first smelled so strongly of pot we couldn't stand to be there. I stayed here earlier in 2023 and it was no frills but ok. This experience was simply not ok. Will be looking elsewhere in the future.

Cockroaches in the bathroom. No Kleenex in the room.no luggage rack to hold suitcase. The people were fantastic. Smiling and friendly. IHOP right across the parking lot. The room was clean and had been recently redone.
