Had a tough time with the cleanliness of our room. The set up was great, however the overall cleanliness was not. Found many hairs (from previous guests) in the bathroom, on the vanity, around the room on furniture, and on the sheets of our bed. Our bed sheets also had holes in them. The floors in our room were filthy - sand all over. I understand there will be some sand that doesn’t get picked up due to the location near the beach, but this seemed excessive. Our patio room door didn’t close/lock on either side. The bathtub had a large “dip” in the middle of it that constantly held water and had water in it upon our arrival. The refrigerator had old food stains in it from previous guests. The grounds of the resort were nice and tidy, but I can’t say the same about the inside of the resort. This is my second experience like this with Sirata in that the rooms weren’t kept up well.

Upon arrival I asked the front desk about late check out which I was told to come to the front desk the day of check out to pay a 50$ fee for a check out of 3 pm on January 18, 2024, the gentleman who checked me in did. Or inform me that on January 18, 2024 the water throughout the whole building will be shut off from 10am to 3pm because they are changing the water meters. We could not brush our teeth, shower, or even use the bathroom. our room had a musty smell and first night our toilet overflowed spilling water out of the bathroom into the bedrooms. Maintenance came and threw towels on the floor and plunged the toilet. I asked him about a room switch and he said no the maids will come sanitize. We left the room and the dirty towels that were used to soak up the water were still in the bathroom with a damp sewage smell. I went down to the front desk to do late check out and then went back to the room with no water. I called when we realized the water was not working and the women informed me that at check in I should have been told about the water being turned off and that I should have been given the paper notice about the water. We checked in on January 15, 2024 and was NOT informed upon checkin about the water being shut off on January 18, 2024. So again I went down to the front desk to ask about the piece of paper notifying guests about the water. The notice the front desk gave me was dated January 16, 2024. Overall not happy with the service this hotel provided.

The room was extremely dirty. In the evening, it started reeking like marijuana. It was very loud outside the room, and the cable or internet was not working. It kept giving a message "out of range" We slept with clothes on. I will never visit or recommend this hotel. Worst experience ever.

Been there many times but dont like that they are now sharing their beach with private people arriving, docking their boats and parting on their beach. Extra money for hotel I'm sure but to the detriment of their paying guests.

We were literally woke at 6 am to music blaring as the hotel setup for their 5K running, which we were NOT told about before booking. It was absolutely insane. There should not be music blasting that early, with no warning before booking. And the walls are paper thin, so we heard everything.
