I like how quite it was during the day and that there was no TV, so it kind of forces you to explore the area. The breakfast was simple and delicious, fresh fruit and juice. It took me back to a time when i lived in my home country as a young kid.

We were right over the generator that went all night long. The music was pounding load until 2am in the morning. We really needed to rest so we checked out by 3 pm on the second day and didn’t sleep there the 26! The place is unique and gorgeous but if your not into the party stay away.

My trip was wonderful, I really loved the B&B feel to it, the room was large and very clean, a few bugs the first night, but you are in the Jungle, so that’s a given. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very hot, I knew the room had a ceiling fan and it was July in mexico. But I was told they are getting a/c units, the hotel is new so once the units are in it would be perfect! I will definitely come back to Casa Ambar. Chapa was great, brought us to their lagoon which was gorgeous and relaxing. Casa Ambar is in the best location too, the best restaurants are literally next door or within a 3 min walk. Free bikes too which was a plus. I’m recommending this place to all my friends, I’ve done AirBnB in tulum before and it was a drive to the beach, I’d rather skip that and stay with Casa Ambar again! Also the breakfast was a perfect way to start our day. Everyone on the property was super nice. Thanks!! -Andrew + Tim
