The bright, tastefully decorated space that sleeps up to 5 guests features a large, well-stocked kitchen and open living area. Located in a quiet building, you'll enjoy the privacy and the sound of the nearby river. It is only steps away from world-class restaurants and village shops.

A bright and inviting space boasts a recent renovation. Enjoy mix of rustic and modern style. This bright, oversized one bedroom condo sleeps up to 5 guests. Complete with:

A quiet, beautiful neighbourhood surrounded by trees that sits next to the river. Walk 1-2 minutes to the base of Whistler OR the base of Blackcomb mountain, or cross the street to the village. This location sets you up to enjoy a true resort experience.

Getting to The Mountain Base Retreat from the Vancouver airport is easy as most shuttle services drop you off at the village bus loop. From the bus loop, you may take a free shuttle.

Great location and comfortable home
My husband and I stayed for four weeks and loved it. The location is perfect: quiet but only about 5 mins walk to both Blackcomb and Whistler gondolas. Also 10 mins to the closer grocery store and Whistler village. Restaurants are also close. We didn't have a car and it worked great. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. We mostly cooked at home as the kitchen was well equipped. Easy communication with the host and easy check-in. Couldn't ask for more!

Not a ski in / ski out
We exepected a ski in / ski out but had to walk quite a way in ski boots to get to a lift (down a road, across a bridge, past a bus loop etc.). The place was nice but looked better in the photos. The couch had a lot of tears on the seats. There was a howling dog that was above the condo, so that was a bit unfortunate as well. On a more positive note, the owners were very responsive and offered good suggestions for restaurants in the Village. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was lovely.

Picturesque campground like setting next to the river with all comforts of a luxury suite. Five minutes walk either way to Whistler gondola or the Blackcomb gondola makes it very convenient.

The unit was in a beautiful location. We could hear the running water of the river so nicely from the unit. The unit was clean and well put together. Perfect for a couple or a small family. We really enjoyed it. Thank you!!

Great place to remain isolated and enjoy nature
Beautiful property, lovely decor and furnishings, great bed, awesome outlook and a perfect location. You can check in without and contact with anyone, very simple process. It backs onto the river where you can enjoy your morning coffee. It has a great gas fire pit to enjoy the evening. Fully equipped kitchen so you can cook all you own meals. Very accommodating hosts. Really 10 out of 10!
