Beautiful scenery and colourful villages form the backdrop for your tour of Arequipa and Puno. Visit the Arequipa, Colca Canyon, and the waters of Lake Titicaca, and get a look at the spectacular flight of the Andean condors.

Day 1: Meet your guide at Arequipa's airport, transfer to your hotel, and have the morning free. In the afternoon, journey from the beautiful colonial district of San Lazaro through the city's picturesque streets.

Visit the Yanahuara colonial district, famous for its Andalusian-style church, the Santa Catalina Monastery, and the famous 17th-century Church of the Society of Jesus and its magnificent San Ignacio Dome.

Day 2: Set off up the foothills of Chachani Volcano to the spectacular Colca Canyon and cross the reservation of Pampa Cañahuas. After lunch, take some free time to rest and enjoy your hotel in the valley.

Day 3: In the morning, go to the Condor Cross viewpoint to see the flight of the condors, huge Andean birds on the brink of extinction and a symbol of the Andes mountain range. Next, see the colonial churches in the towns of Maca and Yanque.

Day 4: Spend the day exploring Lake Titicaca, from the friendly inhabitants of the Uros Islands to the vibrant traditions and colourful clothes on Taquile Island.

Day 5: Visit the pre-Inca cemetery of the Hatun Colla chiefs in Sillustani, on the shore of Lake Umayo, and see funerary towers that reach up to 19 feet (6 m) high. Next, visit the colonial plateau town of Lampa.
