Explore the urban attractions and beautiful wilderness of Eastern Canada with a group of like-minded adventurers on this week-long trip from Montreal to Toronto. Stroll the streets of Quebec City and Ottawa, hike and swim around Mont Tremblant and Fort Coulonge, and rest up each night in shared hostel accommodation.

Day 1 - Montréal to Québec City: This morning we visit Montmorency Falls before arriving in Québec City. The city is renowned for its historic defence walls. (Breakfast and dinner included).

Day 2 - Québec City:Take time today to wander the city; a walk down to the Lower Town is a must-do! You have the option to embark on a whale watching excursion from a small francophone village, Tadoussac, is available for a fee.

Day 3 - Québec City to Mont-Tremblant: Up bright and early to journey to Mont-Tremblant, a beautiful region located in the Laurentian Mountains. Our lunch stop today is Mont-Tremblant National Park where we will enjoy some beautiful scenery during our hike. (Dinner included).

Day 4 - Mont-Tremblant to Ottawa: This morning we journey to Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. En route, we stop for an interactive look at Canadian wildlife including deer, bear, moose, and caribou; feeding the animals is part of the experience!

Day 5 - Ottawa to Fort-Coulonge: We depart in the afternoon for Fort-Coulonge. If you choose to raft the next day (extra fee) you are in good hands; the Esprit team was voted one of top rafting companies in the world by National Geographic! (Breakfast and dinner included).

Day 6 - Fort-Coulonge: Enjoy another great meal tonight alongside a sunset over the Ottawa River. (Breakfast and dinner included, lunch included if you are rafting).

Day 7 - Fort-Coulonge to Toronto: After breakfast we journey back to Toronto, with a lunch stop at Bon Echo Provincial Park, famous for the impressive 100 metre high cliff Mazinaw Rock. We arrive back to Toronto in the early evening. (Breakfast included).

Know Before You Book

  • This tour begins in Montreal and ends in Toronto.

  • Children aged 17 and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult.

  • Maximum group size is 15 people.

  • Vegetarian meal options are available, and most hotels are equipped with cooking facilities if you would prefer to prepare your own meals.

  • An additional surcharge for whale-watching in Tadoussac and for rafting and lunch in Fort Coulonge is payable directly to the tour operator on the day of the activity. These activities are optional.

  • You may bring 1 piece of luggage weighing 50 pounds (23 kg) or less and 1 carry-on item to take with you on the bus.

  • You will arrive in Toronto between 5 PM and 7 PM on Day 7.

  • You should book your pre-departure accommodation in Montreal well in advance.
