A sport type sandal with heel straps or aqua socks with tread work great (no flip flops). And don’t forget a hat, sun cream, insect repellent and a camera.

Activity itinerary

Get ready to fly across four high-speed ziplines that get more epic with every ride. After checking in at Kipu Ranch Ziplines, you’ll warm up on an 800-foot line that sets you 150 feet above the valley floor. Next up: an 1,800-foot side-by-side race course—try spinning, flipping, or just testing your nerves as you compete for fastest time and best stunt. Cool off Jurassic Park–style by splashing into the Bamboo Pool, a natural lava rock swimming hole, via the WaterZip. Then, suit up in a special “Superman” harness and go headfirst on Kauai’s massive FlyLine Zipline, stretching over 3/4 of a mile and topping out at speeds up to 60 mph. Guides spice up your adrenaline rush with local trivia, stories, and treats like fresh-baked cookies and bottled water. Safety gear is included, and instructions are provided before each big leap.
