What you can expect
Grab a seat on the Lady Dive for an amphibus exploration of Ottawa and Gatineau. Pass by the capital region’s architecture by land, and then get a view of the cityscape from the water as your vehicle dips into the surrounding rivers.
Hop on board the amphibious and listen in as your entertaining local guide and drive provides stories, anecdotes, and historical insight about the city. Pass by 24 Sussex Drive to see the stately 1868 residence of the Prime Minister of Canada, ride through Lower Town’s bustling ByWard Market to check out the vibrant farmer’s market, and admire the Gothic revival spires of the government buildings on Parliament Hill.
Cross over the MacDonald-Cartier Bridge to Gatineau and then back over the Ottawa River on the Pont du Portage.
Next, splash into the river and chug along the water’s edge as you take in the city sights from offshore. Cruise along by the glass and granite structure of the National Gallery of Canada, and admire the waterfront stretch of green space and sculptures at Major’s Hill Park before the Lady Dive drives back onto shore and drops you on solid ground.
