Join a full-day exploration of Death Valley, and journey through North America’s lowest elevation point and driest climate, which sees the country's hottest temperatures in the summer months. Learn about the valley’s unique geological features, and enjoy sweeping views of desert gorges, striking peaks, and miles of sand dunes.

Your adventure begins at an abandoned gold-mining town, where many Hollywood films and TV shows have been recorded, such as Star Wars and various Twilight Zone episodes. Travel in an air-conditioned, luxury 4x4 to the heart of Death Valley, and listen as your certified interpretative guide shares fascinating facts about the area’s unique history and intriguing weather patterns – like the fact that Death Valley’s highest recorded temperature is 56 degrees Celsius (134 F).

Down 282 feet (86 m) below sea level sits Badwater Basin, a saltwater pool that is noted as the lowest point in North America. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of Zabriskie Point, the Devil’s Golf Course, Artist's Palette, and the Furnace Creek Museum. At Hell’s Gate, see if you can spot a bighorn sheep or lizard, and then take in a breath-taking view over Death Valley’s red, pink, and yellow oxidised rocks. Photos alone do not do these majestic scenes justice.

An excellent tour with a knowledgeable tour guide. Made sure everyone kept cool in 120 degree heat. Lots of free wster and towels. Good stops to see the wonders of Death Valley.

My husband and I enjoyed this trip. The contrasting beauty, magnificence, starkness of the place is something everyone should see with their own eyes in order to truly appreciate such a natural and breath-taking creation.
