Take flight on an aeroplane to soar high above the Mojave Desert to the Grand Canyon. This sky-high adventure takes you over the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, culminating among the red rocks and multi-hued walls of the Grand Canyon to give you a bird's-eye perspective on some of the most outstanding scenery in the Southwest.

Get started with shuttle service from your hotel to the Boulder City Municipal Airport, where a de Havilland Twin Otter tour plane takes you up and away over the spectacular sights of the desert. As you reach the Colorado River, get a look at the high arch of the O'Callaghan-Tillman Memorial Bridge just ahead of the Hoover Dam, a monument to modern engineering.

Beyond the dam, the deep blue waters of Lake Mead stretch placidly eastward. Up ahead is the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, where the red desert drops away in cinnamon-striped layers towards the winding silver ribbon of the Colorado River. After more than an hour in the air, return to Boulder City, where your shuttle waits to take you back to your hotel.
