What you can expect

Start your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Managua or Leon. Driven on a VIP confortablevehicles. If departing from Managua, enjoy a scenic drive to Leon, stopping for photo opportunities and a visit to a local family who pioneered the typical food “Quesillo.”

Upon arrival in Leon, meet your private guide and begin your walking tour. Visit the House of Ruben Dario, a museum dedicated to the world-renowned poet. Continue to the Basilica Asuncion, Leon's main cathedral, where you can walk on the roof for stunning views of the city and surrounding volcanoes.

Next, head to the Museum of Myths and Legends “Arrechavala,” where you'll learn about Nicaraguan traditions and the revolutionary history of Leon. Take a break for a typical lunch at the main square by the cathedral.
