During this full-day sightseeing tour of the Valle Alto, you'll have a complete cultural experience touring some of the most traditional villages in Cochabamba. The day begins with pick-up from the hotel, airport, or bus terminal, and we'll head to the La Angostura Dam, where you can enjoy the scenery and take optional boat rides. Then you'll visit Tarata, known for its colonial architecture, where you'll walk around the main square, Plaza Aroma, learn about its history, take photos, and go up to the La Torre vantage point to enjoy panoramic views. You will later visit the Melgarejo Bridge and the traditional Portón Tarateño, where lunch will be served.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to Huayculi, where you will participate in making pottery, connecting with the region's artisan traditions. Then you will visit Punata, touring its main square and the Chicha Museum, where you will learn about the history and process of this traditional drink. You will visit Punata, another town where you will learn about the making of the traditional and unique Cochabamba rosquete. Finally, you'll arrive in Arani to visit its main square and a bread factory, discovering traditional baking techniques. The sightseeing tour concludes with a return to Cochabamba, leaving you with unique memories of the culture, history, and living traditions of the Valle Alto.
