Description

Explore Granada, a capital city that's rich in culture and history, and take in breath-taking sights of Spanish countryside along the way. Pass through quaint villages including Estepa, Antequera and Loja, and enjoy the opportunity to visit the world-renowned Alhambra fortress.

Travel through the beautiful landscape surrounding Seville. After seeing some of the Andalusian countryside, arrive in Granada and begin a tour that's filled with historical commentary. Make your way to the famous Alhambra Palace, which proudly overlooks the region from a lush, green hilltop.

Originally built as a small fortress in 889, the Alhambra complex was converted into a royal palace in 1333 by Yusuf I, the Sultan of Granada at the time. This UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases some of Spain's most significant Islamic architecture, and has served as an inspiration for many poets and authors over the centuries.

Wander the palace grounds and listen to fascinating commentary from your guide, learning all about the site's rich heritage. See remnants of the many different cultures and religions that have shaped the complex, and marvel at its exquisite gardens.

After exploring the Alhambra, take a drive into the city centre for some free time to have lunch, do some shopping, and simply relax amid the Andalusian beauty that surrounds you. Your experience ends with a ride back to Seville and hassle-free drop-off.

Both tour guides were awesome! I’ve been to the Alhambra before, but this tour guide gave us so much information and was really on top of her game. Roman, the tour guide in the bus, told many interesting stories during the drive and helped the time past quickly. My only complaint was that the drop off point in the Albaicín wasn’t the greatest, but we still had a good time walking around and trying local tapas - in Granada, if you buy a beer or wine, you get a free tapa. So don’t waste your money on a fancy restaurant meal. Go out to the little bars where the locals eat for a cheap but delicious lunch after touring the Alhambra.
