Description

Discover why so many flock to San Diego's pristine beaches and breath-taking coastline on this day tripper bus tour. Jump on an authentically styled beach trolley and see the best that the city has to offer, including Mission Beach, Old Town, Mount Soledad and La Jolla.

Board the trolley and meet your lively tour guide, who's playing great music, sharing entertaining stories and spouting fascinating history. The trolley drives along a continuous 24-mile (38 km) route, and you can hop on or hop off at whichever destinations you like.

At Old Town, enjoy a variety of historic sites like the Old Town Theater, Presidio Park and a wide range of Hispanic-inspired hotels. Learn how this is considered the birthplace of California, with its first settlers arriving in the late 1700s. Venture to the top of Mount Soledad, the massive 820-foot (250 m) peak offering phenomenal views of San Diego and the Pacific Ocean.

The next stop is La Jolla, known as the jewel of San Diego for its luxurious homes, prestigious university and beloved white-sand beaches. Hop off here and soak up some sun at one of the beautiful beaches, or explore the lively beachside restaurants and boutiques. Ride along the boardwalk of Mission Beach and view local vendors, beach food trucks and of course, the picturesque coastline.

This is one of the most convenient ways to explore the best of San Diego.

James (our tour guide) was amazing. The tour was great and it was awesome that we spent 3.5 hours in La Jolla: plenty of time to enjoy the beach on a hot and sunny day.

This beaches tour was the highlight of our stay in San Diego. As for Jim, the guide, he is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time, learning about the different areas and different aspects of Old Town, Downtown, and La Jolla.

Overall it was a good excursion. We had a very friendly guide (James) and he made the tour fun & enjoyable. In terms of the photo you have advertised, we.were not taken by the trolly to this beach and also to the pier. Pictures are bit misleading.
