Description

Explore two of the Baja California peninsula's most charming towns on a full-day tour that takes you to historical and cultural attractions, scenic viewpoints, and old mining settlements. Stop by the famous Hotel California in Todos Santos and admire the sunset on your way back.

Rise early and get ready for a comprehensive journey through the grand scenery of Baja California Sur. Your ride takes you along the peninsula's eastern coast to the old mining towns of El Triunfo and San Antonio. Feel the spirit of the Gold Rush as you walk through these nearly deserted villages.

Get a glimpse of the seaside retreats of Buena Vista and Los Barriles along the Sea of Cortez as you continue to La Paz. Upon arrival, venture to La Paz Cathedral, a Jesuit mission that dates back to 1720.

Take a stroll past beautiful bay beaches on the Malecón, the city's coastal promenade. Stop for a delicious lunch in a local restaurant near the bay area before the journey takes you to the peninsula's western coast and the town of Todos Santos.

Renowned for its beaches and vibrant arts, Todos Santos impresses with a laid-back atmosphere and vast cultural heritage. Stop at the Hotel California, the building thought to have inspired the legendary Eagles song, and admire the incomparable sight of the sun setting over the Pacific as you head back to your hotel.

Most of the trip is in the car. You get 1 hour to explore downtown La Paz but not until you’ve spent 30 min of that in a pearl shop that your tour guide takes you to. You get 10 min at an actual beach the rest of the beach part of the tour is on a boardwalk. 20 min in Todos Santos. Basically the entire tour feels like a time share. We didn’t even go to the museum that it says to take cash for.

What was described in tour was not correct. This is NOT a tour of the Hotel California from the Eagles song, but rather a hotel that is called Hotel California used as a marketing ploy to sell tickets for this tour!
