Skirt the slopes of the Continental Divide as you explore Yoho National Park and beyond with an experienced local guide all year around. Spend time meandering along the shores of Moraine Lake's opalescent waters and examine the natural span of a river-carved bridge created over thousands of years. Find out how railway engineers overcame the Continental Divide's steep terrain with a visit to the serpentine Spiral Tunnels.

From a central meeting location in Calgary, heading towards the evergreen forest and granite peaks of Yoho National Park, and make a stop at Lake Louise to snap photos of its turquoise waters. In the winter, snow capped mountains surround the famous lake with Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise providing a classy backdrop.

Its waters are the most amazing colour, a vivid shade of turquoise that changes in intensity through the summer as the glaciers melt. Set in the rugged Valley of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and rock piles, creating a scene so stunning it almost seems unreal. *Moraine Lake open from June to Oct 7, 2024. Spiral Tunnels (Pass by)
It is one of the most bizarre feats of engineering to get the grade of a train line to be at or below 2.2%. The current two spiral tunnels where the railway forms two spirals, crossing beneath itself twice, almost forming a figure eight, before continuing in the proper direction down the mountain.
