Know before you book

  • Return transport is available from most centrally located Cusco hotels. Please arrange pickup from your hotel or a nearby location when you call to confirm your reservation.
  • Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.

What you can expect

Please consider that due to the rainy season in Cusco, between January 01st to April 30th, the train will operate with its BIMODAL service (Train + Bus )

Early morning pick up from your Cusco hotel and transfer to the train station.

On the train you will enjoy comfort & spectacular Andean scenery.

Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes a representative will assist you to continue the journey by bus to reach the citadel.

Arrival and tour of Machu Picchu, the ancient Inca site with captivating architecture, scenic views and stone structures that defy modern engineering. Let the lost city of the Incas astonish you with a history lesson of Machu Picchu given by a regional expert who will focus on major historic sites including the Sun Temple, Sun Stone and Room of the Three Windows.

Free time to enjoy the natural hot springs of Aguas Calientes known for its healing powers.

In the afternoon train will take you back to Cusco.
