What you can expect

Join us for a 3-hour guided kayaking adventure from West Beach on Orcas Island. We’ll paddle along the picturesque shoreline, passing Freeman Island, on our way to the secluded Point Doughty State Park, a coastal preserve only accessible by water.

Along the way, you’ll encounter wildlife such as harbour seals, porpoises, bald eagles, and a variety of shorebirds. Once at Point Doughty, we’ll land on a quiet beach for a brief nature walk, where you can take in stunning views of Mt. Baker and the surrounding islands.

After soaking in the beauty of this hidden gem, we’ll paddle back, enjoying the changing scenery and the tranquil, ever-shifting waters of the Salish Sea. This is the perfect opportunity to experience the best of Orcas Island’s wildlife and coastal beauty.
