Tackle Whistler's stunning beauty by land and water on this self-guided combo adventure on the River of Golden Dreams and Alta Lake. Start with a leg-pumping ride, transfer to your choice of canoe or kayak for a thrilling river paddle, and then pick up your bike again to close out your day cruising a few trails.

Head to the tour operator office in the village for the start of the tour. (Private tours include transport to and from your accommodation in Whistler.)

At the office, meet your guide and get fitted for an off-road-ready mountain bike or a comfortable cruiser bike.

When you're set to go, put your feet to the pedals for a leisurely paced ride towards Wayside Park on Alta Lake. Find your kayak or canoe when you arrive, leaving your bike with staff as you set off across the lake Alta Lake, through the Whistler Wetlands and down the scenic glacial river aptly-named ‘The River of Golden Dreams’.

Your bike will be waiting for you at the end of your paddle for you. You will explore local mountain bike trails before riding back to the village.
