Description

Get an up-close and personal introduction to the Emerald City, scoping out major landmarks and locally loved districts with a passionate guide. See sights from Pike Place Market to the Space Needle, and uncover distinctive districts like Fremont and Queen Anne.

After you're picked up from your hotel, kick off your Seattle exploration in the heart of the city. Cruise between diverse districts like funky Fremont, historic Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market and the bustling International District, and hop off to check out attractions like the fascinating fish ladders at the Ballard Locks on foot. Take in the panorama over downtown and Elliott Bay from Kerry Park in Queen Anne, and soak up the Scandinavian atmosphere in the marina-centric district of Ballard.

Scope out charming pockets of coffee shops, locally owned boutiques, and cosy eateries as your guide shares stories about the city, and learn the best places to come back to for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Pass the warped architecture of the MoPOP and the futuristic spire of the Space Needle, see where the Seahawks and the Mariners play at Safeco Field and Century Link Stadium, and check out the historic piers, the Olympic Sculpture Park, and the sky-high observation wheel along downtown's waterfront, admiring the view across Puget Sound to the Olympic mountains before your tour concludes.

Very friendly guide, good driver. Great service to be picked up at airport hotels. I only give 3 stars though because the guide did not give me the kind of information that I expect when I pay for a city tour. Basic stuff like where the name Seattle comes from, that the first Starbucks can be found around the corner, music history etc was missing and made it frustrating to me as I don't knwo what other information I have missed out on nw.

Saw lots of the highlights but felt our guide could have provided much more informative commentary. She was very nice and personable but there was so many more things she could have told us.
