Discover the authentic flavours of Spain in a hands-on tapas workshop in the heart of Alicante. Guided by a local chef, you’ll work together to prepare five traditional tapas and a dessert. The workshop takes place in a real working restaurant kitchen. You’ll enjoy a hands-on cooking class while also discovering the Spanish way of sharing food: around a table, with a drink, good conversation and good company. As you cook each dish, you’ll work with different ingredients and techniques while discovering the stories, traditions and local flavours that make Spanish tapas so special. On the menu: Spanish tortilla, salmorejo, Delicias de Elche (dates wrapped in bacon), Alicante-style coca de mollitas, a traditional Murcian marinera served on a crunchy bread ring, and pumpkin buñuelos for dessert. After cooking, relax and enjoy your tapas dinner together. At the end of the meal, a solo Spanish guitarist will perform a few songs — a final touch of local culture and Mediterranean atmosphere. This friendly experience is a delicious way to connect with Spanish culture through food, stories and people. Our menu is largely vegetarian, with easy adaptations available for vegetarian guests.
