You'll be two miles northeast of shops, eateries, restaurants, and galleries in downtown Saugatuck and only a mile further from downtown Douglas. The sparkling Lake Michigan shoreline of Saugatuck Dunes State Park is two miles northwest, and two of the area's most beloved beaches - Oval Beach and Douglas Beach - are within a four-mile drive.

    Very cute login cabin…well decorated. Only 2 miles from downtown Saugatuck. There was a jogging/bike path that ran from the cabin right into downtown. Lots of good retro choose from. Only downside is that the trash bins are just across the street from the cabin. On one day the trash truck came at 8am and another at 4am. The truck made a lot of noise and work up some of our family members.

    This was a comfortable home, well designed, and well stocked with towels and needed items. It was a great romantic location with cute shops in nearby Saugatuck.

    It was a beautiful cabin and the kids loved it
    The cabin is was very clean and beautiful. We loved our stay. The kids and I enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. One of the smoke detectors started beeping low battery in the middle of our first night. I called first thing that morning and someone came and took care of it within a few hours since I was unable to reach the smoke detector myself. Overall it was a great stay and we will probably go there again sometime next year.

    Wonderful cabin. Hot tub didn’t work and local property manager/Vacasa were not responsive
    The cabin is so cozy and in a great location to enjoy Saugatuck, MI. However, we rented the property for a 2 day getaway “to rest after the holidays, and use the hot tub” . Shortly after we arrived we realized the hot tub was unusable as the water was very cloudy and clearly needed attention. We called the Vacasa help line and were told someone would reach out from their maintenance team. But no one called. We called 2 more times that day but no one called back to trouble shoot our problem. So, we weren’t able to use the hot tub at all -which was a main reason we rented this property. Vacasa never called us to discuss our concern, attempt to help us or even apologize. We are home now and disappointed. The cabin was cute and the area is great but the property managers are non-responsive and our trip was not as enjoyable due to their indifference.

    The home was thoroughly appointed, a great use of 1650 sq ft. Beds were comfortable, hot tub was clean. There was road noise. The home was not a cabin in the woods, but a community of cabins in a wooded area - feels private enough but neighbors are close.

    Great location and the cabin was great. Very nice hot tub. Very comfortable living and sleeping areas. Kitchen was well stocked. The only issue which was minor was dog hair on the rug. We would definitely rent again.
