Hearth & Cove is a private ocean-front cottage with water access tucked away on a large forested lot overlooking Spring Cove. This cozy and clean cottage is the perfect setting for your getaway.
Great for families or couples looking for a romantic adventure, this cottage features 3 stories, a cozy living room, 4 decks, a hot tub, BBQ, 3 TVS, a gas fireplace, and a jacuzzi tub.
A 5 minute walk to the Wild Pacific Trail or Little Beach.
Cottage consists of 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a 1/2 bathroom and a Jacuzzi tub. There is a sitting chair and TV and DVD player. The 2nd bedroom includes a double bed and single bed with a sitting chair, TV, and fire place. The kitchen is fully stocked with small, large appliances and tables and chairs. There is a selection of coffee, tea, sugar and spices. There is a full bathroom off the kitchen. Living room has full size couch, sitting chairs, propane fireplace, TV and DVD player, large selection of DVD's , as well as board games and books on the area and BC. The rustic wood interior is the stuff of childhood memories. There is ample outside space. Enjoy the rustic front porch furniture, decks on multiple levels, and a good soak in the 4 person hot tub. You will love taking a hot cup of tea or coffee down to the deck with a water view.
Hearth & Cove is an easy walk to access the Wild Pacific Trail and Little Beach. Ucluelet is a 15 min walk away or a short drive. Tofino is about 30 min away by car.
Cottage is open concept. The bedrooms are separate by lay out and the living room floor but do not have doors.
The hot tub is not covered so we can enjoy the rainy and starry nights.
Full and private access to property and home.
Our cabin is comfortably situated along Spring Cove Inlet with an abundance of privacy.
You'll be within walking distance to town, the beach, and nearby trails.
Within the town of Ucluelet, you'll be able to enjoy the amazing local shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops of Ukee!

Cottage is open concept. The bedrooms have an entire floor between them and are private by layout/design but do not have doors.
The entire area has wild animals. Please do not feed any animals other than the birds. (We provide bird seed for that. Please put some out on the upper deck and enjoy the Steller Jays!).
It can be quite rainy on the West Coast! It lends to the stunning beauty here. But be prepared for it. No refunds based on disappointing weather.

Quaint cottage in Ucluelet
This cottage suited our needs very well. Trails within walking distance as well as beach access. Two bedrooms, small kitchen and cozy living area. We weren't expecting such cold temperatures in June so found the heat of the fireplace very welcome !

Has potential
Has potential to be a nice, relaxing place, unfortunately we did not have a good experience. We were greeted by the cleaner who told us the place wasn’t ready at 4pm.. waited additional 20min until she was done and we felt like a burden for showing up at 4.
Broken dishwasher, little notes about the environment made to make us feel guilty on our vacation about using the washing machine.. which is pretty hypocritical considering they have a hot tub… having to ration toilet paper, paper towel roll had maybe 6 pieces left, almost no dish soap, and our dog kept finding and eating these mysterious Doritos that kept making her sick. Half the windows are broken so can’t be opened, the mattress on the single bed – I could feel every coils when lying on it. Before I arrived I asked the host what the frying pans were made out of. He didn’t know and didn’t care to find out.

Great location
Great location for the impression that you were in the countryside, yet it was part of a larger complex. Being at the end of the small development and surrounded by trees and a creek helped with this. Hot tub was a real plus, along with the outdoor dining area. Easy to get to Ucluelet centre and also access the Pacific Trail
