Very convenient to downtown without the noise
Very convenient to downtown without the noise. Quiet neighbourhood that is 15 mins walk to centre of town.

The place was comfortable and homey and had everything we needed. Really appreciated the advice we got on places to visit nearby. Overall a very pleasant experience!

Beautiful little guesthouse, very homely and welcoming atmosphere, very friendly and helpful owner. Nice quiet area, comfortable bed, very relaxing. 10 minute walk to downtown Victoria. Highly recommend for a weekend stay.

Freundliche Herbergsmutter die einem auch gute Tipps zum Essen oder Ausflüge gibt. Einzig das Putzmittel riecht unangenehm. Frühstück mit frischem Obst. Gerne wieder.

Nice place in quiet neighborhood
We only spend one night, but the size and the room with the facilities were a revelation. The breakfast was delicious and there was enough different kind of foods to suite anybodys needs. The location is a bit outside of victoria, but you can reach the harbor in about 15 minutes walk, also there are stores and restaurants nearby. The owner is really nice, as is the whole building. there is basically only one flaw: the house is really clairaudient. We were in a downstairs room and were disturbed by the sounds of shuffeling chairs form other guests in the breakfast room above. However we would have liked to stay there for another night, but it was booked out - even though at the time of booking expedia had listed a vacancy. So if you book, try to contact the owner to verify the booking. Maybe they have the problem figured out by now...

Private room too far from downtown
This b&b is cute and the room I had was well stocked with water, a coffee machine, soaps (no body wash) and robes. The continental breakfast was delicious and the host was very sweet. My only issue with the place was that the extra blankets in the closet smelled kinda moldy, the fridge also smelled moldy and wasn't cold enough and that the location is further than expected from downtown Victoria. Other reviews say 10-15 minutes to downtown and I would say more like a 20 minute walk or a bus ride - so just be prepared. The worst part is not the walk though, but where you have to walk past to get there. A homeless shelter meaning lots of homeless people along the whole street. As a solo traveler, it made me feel uncomfortable having to walk to far with my luggage. Other than that, the accommodations were great with fast wifi, Netflix and a comfortable couch and bed.

Worth it for a short get away; not for long stay
I stayed one night - just passing through. Breakfast was fresh fruit, fresh baked goods, cereal, yogurt. There were vegetarian and gluten free options.
