We stayed in room 301 and I would definitely return to this room only. The room was clean. The attendant, Michael, from our first night there was amazing. No one else disclosed their name for me to give them their praises, but all of the staff interactions were pleasant. The parking lot was very easy to find. Breakfast was phenomenal and plentiful. The hotel is located next EVERYTHING. We went to the Port Discovery Children's Museum (across the street) and Reginald F. Lewis Museum ( down one block), which are both 5 minute walks. The hitel offer nightly cookies and tea. There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The rooms are cozy with easy access to the thermostat. I gave one star because I do not agree with the threat of fines for any little infraction. I do not usually break or damage anything during my travels, but this hotel had me scared to breathe the wrong way. It's an uncomfortable position. Other than that, I enjoyed everything about it.
By the way, there is no pool, but the bathtubs has jets.
