The lodge is set on the river Ouse and benefits from a river frontage view surrounded by woodland and can sleep to four people. Kingfisher Lodge enjoys quite a wonderful and peaceful setting. The one bed cabin itself has wooden finishes throughout and includes an living room area with a log burner, Tv and sofa bed , a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with shower. There is also a microwave, toaster and a kettle. It provides guests with a raised deck area and seating area with a riverside setting where Fishing and walking can be enjoyed .

The property is reached via a private footpath that is accessed from a private parking area nearby. Kingfisher Lodge is located off Water Lane that is approached from the St Neots Road that is on the south side of the A421 Bedford bypass which connects the M1 at Junction 13 with the Black Cat roundabout on the A1. When turning from the St Neots Road towards Water Lane, take an immediate left turn. Follow the road for around 200 metres and the parking area can be reached via a right turn down an unmade road. Local shops can be found in Great Barford just two miles away with supermarkets and a wider range of facilities available only two and a half miles away off River field Drive in Bedford and include both a Tesco and a Waitrose supermarket. Nearest airport London Luton, Just over 30 miles away.
