Very disappointing
We had to clean up hair from bathrooms upon arrival, waste baskets were filthy gross on bottom, there was a rotted out board on top deck that was very dangerous, a sewage smell came from back yard. The garbage bins were all full and we had no where to put garbage. The garage was full of cobwebs and garbage and flower beds overrun with weeds. It was a very disappointing stay. The homeowner I hope is alerted at the bad care the host is giving his home. He obviously is not local. Beautiful neighborhood and super kind people in area. This house is becoming neglected and an eyesore in such a lovely place. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Lovely home in Kentucky
The house was perfectly represented in the listing. It was clean, well equipped, and in a great location for all our activities. We had a hot water heater issue that the owner immediately rectified while we were out, not a problem for us at all and I appreciate her quick response. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Nice home in beautiful location
We were here for Derby Week and enjoyed our stay in the middle of horse country. Close to the charming town of Midway and all of the amazing thoroughbred horse farms. Easy drive to several distilleries as well as Lexington and Louisville.

I love this neighborhood!
Several things to point out: 1. There were no paper towels. I bought some and left them there. 2. The sinks in the MBR were clogged with hair and would not drain. I cleaned them both out. 3. No soap or shampoo. They were there last year, but maybe that’s not included? 4. Several lights indoors burned out. All in all, it’s a beautiful home and close to Midway and the horse park. Let me know if the owners want to sell!

Was great property for our group of 8. Clean and roomy for us to hang out for the long weekend. Beautiful horse country and loved the small town of Midway close by for dining options. Would stay there again!

Bourbon Trail Trip
This was our first Vrbo experience and I feel it spoiled us for all that will follow. The home was clean, the property manager responded immediately when we had a question concerning the door lock, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the neighborhood...it is stunning! The home is spacious and the deck is quiet, relaxing and has a nice view. The only suggestion we might have for the owner is to address the occasional sewage smell. Our guess is that the aerobic/septic system needed some attention or that the house had possibly been empty for some period of time. There was a definite smell each time we would enter the home, but the odor would dissipate over time (probably because we would get used to it). However, it wasn't something that ruined our stay. I would absolutely recommend this property without hesitation!

Great stay.
Great place to stay. Quiet and pretty. Did some bourbon tastings and football watching. Only complaint is the TVs are kinda small but it did not affect our fun at all. We’ll be back.
