Welcome to the Cajun Getaway! This place is overflowing with southern charm. A great place for families, couples, solo adventurers or business travelers. The Cajun Getaway is perfectly secluded, and still only 5 or 10 minutes to a grocery store and restaurants. Located in Southwest Louisiana, otherwise known as, Cajun country. This getaway has all the necessities to make you feel at home. The decor is filled with lots of southern love and charm. Cajun Getaway is eight miles south of Lafayette La. The Cajun Getaway is your home away from home. It's a single unit and you will be the only guest occupying this private rental property. We do live onsite. Between our home and the Getaway is a swimming pool with soothing waterfalls. There is also a gazebo next to the pool where you'll have access to a gas grill and barbecue pit.

Rang in the New Year under a clear country sky

The family and I enjoyed our stay, using the excellent BBQ to grill up some yummy food we enjoyed in the quiet countryside (aside from some adjacent fireworks). The home is lovely, with a great big TV and plenty of content to enjoy. Bed is comfy and the shower is great. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

My family enjoyed the Cajun Getaway! The spacious house and large pool were amazing to relax and enjoy family time together. Stocked items in kitchen made it easy to enjoy a meal on site or cook healthy meals. Thank you for your thoughtfulness on this. This was really a nice place! Amenities, amenities, amenities. They thought of everything. I was thankful because I didn't really want to have to get out much. They've gone above and beyond. Quaint. Cozy. One bedroom for a couple, but the kitchen, dining, and outside has ideal spacing. Books, games are extra. The pool is not too deep if you have young one. I didn't have to use all of the amenities, but I did get to use a few things that I had accidentally forgotten, but needed. I got to meet the owners. They were very cordial. Tastefully decorated. Lots of us ideas to duplicate . I do plan to return.

Just Perfect

My husband and I wanted/needed a small getaway for our anniversary. We didn't want to travel far and found Cajun Getaway. It was perfect. We have gone to many rentals over the years and we have never been to one where there were so many thoughtful incidentals. There was no need for a trip to a store for something forgotten, because if it wasn't here we just didn't need it. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, the grounds were beautiful and there were far too many warm and homey touches that were welcoming to mention. The pool was a God send! We will book again!

Home away from home

Beautiful home and a wonderful place to stay. The property manager was accommodating and a pleasure to speak with. Everything about the home was clean and the pool and property were very well kept. There was even a quant area with hammock, swings and garden lights to enjoy. The freshly stocked fridge and pantry with all the dishes and cooking supplies needed made our stay easy and convenient. We even got to enjoy a family dinner poolside and my kids loved it. Highly recommend this home and plan to return in the future. Thanks again!

As soon as we arrived Janice was there to welcome us and walk us through the property, she had everything looking beautiful, cozy and with extra touches (basket of toys, kids toothbrush and toothpaste in case we forgot one, chargers for our phones, makeup wipes, 1st aid kit, the list goes on and on) Janice also has that warm southern hospitality that you wish you could bottle up and take back with you ❀ I will definitely go back, if I had a choice I never would've left.
