Our gorgeous, spacious five-bedroom home, which includes a finished basement with a standing desk/dual monitor setup, a stunning cedar dry sauna, a 2-car garage, and multiple entertaining living rooms, sits less than a 5-minute drive from downtown Adrian and all of its cute restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and more! Come enjoy our renovated, spectacular home which also features a massive manicured back yard, garden, lawn, and heated 4ft saltwater swimming pool, complete with deck chairs, a gas grill, and plenty of outdoor seating.

Nestled on a quiet street close to a big park perfect for the family and kids, this is the perfect spot for any gathering or getaway!

With just a few steps to the front door, our home has two full bathrooms (one in the primary suite and one shared between two other bedrooms) on the ground floor along with the front and back living rooms, the kitchen, the dining room. The second floor features a large, secluded bedroom with its own office setup. That room also has its own heating & cooling control for ultra-custom comfort! Finally, our finished basement (down a full flight of stairs) features a full bathroom, another bedroom, another living area with a desk setup, and our sauna!

Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. Check-in anytime that fits your schedule, after 4:00 pm. If you’d like an early check-in, shoot us a message the day before your stay. If no other guest is checking out, you’re welcomed to check-in anytime!

In addition to five queen beds, we have a queen-size air mattress and multiple super comfy regular couches in the living rooms too! Plenty of extra linens and pillows are available to ensure groups of any size have a comfortable, restful stay.

Expectations

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:

We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.

We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.

Parking

We have a garage that fits 2 cars. Our driveway can fit 3 - 4 cars as well and we have free street parking for any extra space needed!

Entry

The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and from the garage. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.

When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.

Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

Our Neighborhood

This house is perfectly located for access to downtown Adrian and Adrian college (a 4-min drive). We're also about an hour west of Toledo and southwest of Ann Arbor, and 45 min south east of Jackson.

House Rules

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:

- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.
- Please leave your shoes at the door.
- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.
- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.
- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
- When accessing or utilizing the outdoor pool or the indoor sauna, all guests do so at their own risk, waive any and all liability on the part of the property owner and rental operator, and agree to hold the property owner and rental operator harmless of all liability pursuant to such use

Getting Around

While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Adrian and Toledo areas!
