"Try on" Tiny Home Living at Tiny Timbers Resort.
Tiny Timbers Resort is a new and developing tiny home resort. Currently on the property are four tiny homes, a restored log cabin and a coffee bistro.
This is the "Burro Creek" tiny home. It's 170 square feet, with a bathroom, kitchenette, queen loft and pull-out sofa bed. All tiny homes have a grill and picnic table. The decor is country chic and super cozy! All linens and dishes provided.123
The resort is located just east of South Fork on Hwy 160 and borders national forest. You can leave directly from the property on your ATV or snowmobile and head to numerous trails around South Fork.
I Love Tiny Timbers Bistro and accommodations. Cheryl is a terrific host. Coffee and meals on site excellent. Nice gift shop and spa. Daughter highly recommends massage. Whether you choose the adventure of a Tiny Home or one of the beautiful larger cabins, (I have stayed in both several times) it will be a great experience. I make it an annual visit every year.
We enjoyed our stay in the tiny home. It was quaint and even in a small space, had everything we needed. Location was good as it was only 25 minutes from the ski area. I would recommend the experience.
Extremely comfortable tiny cabin, feet away from a forest service road and access by foot into the mountains. Delicious coffee shop next door. Wildly friendly people every time you turn around.
We had a lovely experience staying in a Tiny Home for the first time. Great location. Everyone at the Resort were very helpful and respectful! We will definitely come back and will definitely recommend it.
Southfork is my favorite place in the world, Iâve always stayed at fun valley ( a little campground outside of town) but this year it was booked full so we found tiny Timbers, it was a very cute tiny house village, I was a little bummed out by the traffic noise, the mountains arenât supposed to be constantly noisy, but hey I canât always get everything I want. The tiny houses were clean and suited us well for the week, the coffee shop was very nice, I wish they had more of a park feel, so we didnât always have to go into town to do things, and also I wish they had a place to do laundry, we had to drive into town to wash clothes but other than that it was a fantastic place to stay!
Very Nice cabin! A bit small for a 60+, 6'1" guy, but what we expected. The loft was a bit of a challenge for us "Seniors" but we're pretty active, so not a show stopper. My wife thought it was cute! Love South Fork area so we will be back!
This was the perfect space and location for us to come and go from while exploring the area!
The cabin was just as we imagined! Such a perfect layout and it had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable! We loved the fact that we could ride so many trails up and around Del Norte right behind our cabin. It was great not having to trailer our ATV every day. I loved coffee and pumpkin bread from the coffee shop and Andy is really missing those breakfast burritos! We honestly had a great time at Tiny Timbers and South Fork. Until next time... :)
Cute space, however, lots of traffic noice. There were a few cob webs and the trash bin was difficult to open and when we did get it open, it was full from previous occupants.
The Tiny Homes are very impressive and come with every necessity such as an air conditioning unit, heater, small fridge, stovetop, running water.
10/10 experience. Four people can stay in the home, however, it would be a little tight given the amount of room. Two people fit perfectly.
We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Tiny House in South Fork! The space is clean and modern, and was a great first impression of tiny house living. It is a close drive to Creede and Wolf Creek Ski Area, and it is nice having a coffee shop right outside your door.
The host was great at communication, and check in / out was a breeze.
My boyfriend and myself stayed here two nights for a ski trip to Wolf Creek. We absolutely loved it! The towels were soft and fluffy, the shower was hot (perfect after a day of skiing), and the entire place was so cozy. I highly recommend this spot!
Cheryl was great to work with. She was very responsive to emails and questions before our stay. During our stay we had a small issue with a water leak and once again Cheryl was great with communicating and addressing the problem.
